Despite what my icon says, I actually think another drop of coffee will kill me. I've had like... 2 litres in the last 24 hours. Sleep didn't enter into this equation. Fingers actually hurt from typing, wow. On the plus side, both client projects are done (though I can't vouch I've been coherent on the second), bills are paid, flat is cleaned, food is cooked, relatives are appeased. I also have a feeling that not even the Apocalypse could wake me up tomorrow. Some week.
Anyway,
hs_merlin repost. I'm... not sure, frankly, for whose benefit I'm reposting it here. The OP didn't say anything, so I'm pretty sure she hated it. And, judging by the comments, the only thing I actually managed to achieve was to sound sufficiently British, which I count as a win, since no Brit-picker and all. I blame Stephen Fry, his Liar dragged me through this.
But anyway, yeah, I worked on that one for a month, almost exclusively, I actually thought about making it a verse, but yeah, I guess that was the writing high talking. We all know how that comes and goes. Well, some of us do. Maybe it's just time to... well, maybe it's just time.
I wrote
Dew Point. I've been told my summary sucks, so I don't know what to tell you. It's about high school, and there's magic. Boys are and act 17. Surprisingly homophobia is not an issue (I felt a bit fed up at the time), but there are other things. Also there's sex. Oh God, I don't know. I'll repost official summary to the comm, I should be able to muster enough c/p power. *headdesk*
More importantly, SUITS! I've just watched last night's ep. Oh wow. Either the scriptwriters have read a lot of fanfiction, and I mean A LOT, or we're just that lucky. :D
