One does wonder
So AO3 has been up and down for the past few days. Their Twitter says it'll take a few weeks to sort it out? Hm...
I wonder if this is connected in any way to the sweep cleaning that has apparently been going on through FFN. Several people sent me frantic notes this last week, people I don't know, I might add. Apparently some accounts and stories have been deleted without 'declaring war' so to speak. TBH, I wanted to delete my FFN accounts -- both of them -- for a while, because that site is really one big trash bin, but I didn't because I personally hate when stories I like get deleted and I only discover it after it's been like a year afterwards. I'm really tempted though, I wish I could do it in some harmless way.
I do hope the AO3 team will conquer the beast, because, in all my fandom experience, I found it's the best site to store one's works. Not the greatest place for communication, but for posting stories? Simply marvelous. Really hope those pesky 502 and 503 will stop popping up soon.
