When someone told you that you couldn't possibly take a nice picture in almost pitch-dark situation, then he certainly don't know how to 'play' with light. I did some really cool nightscape photography while I was at Redang Island. Thanks to the full moon and some ambient light from the resort, I was able to capture some really surreal pictures of Kalong Bay, Redang.
Warm tropical water + Swinging Palm Trees + Nice sandy Beach - make you so wanna go skinny-dipping. ;p
The Beach Front. Not that nice with some coral rubbles but it was OK.
Starry starry night. There were a lot of stars in the sky considered it was full moon that night, you can even see the southern cross (the Crux), Jupiter and the constellation Centaurus in the photo. The light at the horizon was not from mainland but squid-jigging boat.
To get this photo - we were standing there statically for 15 secs. haha... it's all worht it!
