Room restore, Round 5
Wow!
What a difference new paint makes! I mean, you know it's going to but you never "really" appreciate it until it's up on the wall. See what I mean?
I know it seems bright (especially compared to what it was) but when we brought in a couple of the paintings that had previouosly hung on the walls, they really toned down the colour and fit right in. Llywelyn did an AWESOME job!
By the time I get back home Thursday, the floor will have been sealed and hopefully the new picture rails/crown moulding replaced. Next week, since I took a few days off, we're going to carefully investigate the light fixture and see how much of a pain it will be to replace with something 20s-ish.
Only time will tell!
