Truth. To me, truth is just like some kind of pattern in language that makes sense to us given our experiences. I've talked to quite a few Muslims and Christians, and all say the same things (they just have their different jargon).
Morality is just an opinion expressed. I heard of this website that people actually purchase the rights to view. It features this long legged Asian woman with a short mini-skirt and three-inch long spiked heels. She is holding a kitten.
She puts the kitten on the ground and then impales it with her heel. This is just hearsay (I don't think I can watch this) but the little kitty actually has a look of surprise on its face when the lady steps on kitty and begins to crush and kill it. There are actually three parties involved here. The woman, the owner of the website (who won't it down because he makes a lot of money, and of course the viewers themselves).
Most people (myself included) are disgusted by this, and would villify it as immoral. However, isn't that what immorality is? Something we are disgusted or otherwise have negative feelings about?
When we speak of morality, good and bad, where does it come from? Some say God but wouldn't one need God's perspective to know what God would think? After all, we all have roughly the same perspective; the human perspective.
Many would argue for the Bible or the Koran or the Vedas, but isn't pointing to an ancient text arbitrary?
When we choose sides, good or bad, immoral or moral, we automatically lose. Instead, it is best to not get grounded in the argument of whether it is moral.
