Right. So I'm still in Boston. I arrived Saturday and helped set up our stuff, and then went to the Podcamp Saturday Night party.
Then, I went to the abode of occultatio and dergnoam. Very very cool, and great to see them as well as Tiamat and SK again.
Sunday we set a record for the live broadcasting on the service BlogTV.com. We had almost four hundred viewers simultaneous, and over the two and a half hour broadcast over TWENTY-FIVE HUNDRED Unique viewers. AND I got to interview the minds behind Galacticast. Afterwards, much enjoyed dinner with lokei who I hadn't seen in an age and a half, or rather... two years or so.
Monday, I was off. Lunch with dergnoam then Tea with Dianaelaine )won't let me type numbers on this keyboard), and then hermitgeecko and I had dinner at LTK, the Legal as in Seafood, Test Kitchen, for a great meal and then some enjoyable Lorwyn Sealed. The games were very good ones. Kinsbaile Balloonist is excellent without being overpowered and Needle Drop is an excellent match of flavor and function. Needle dropping a Balloonist for lethal is just fun. :)
Tuesday, I highly coincidentally met up with someone from my class at Harvard who happens to be working as temp staff for the BCEC, while writing a walking tour of Old Cambridge. For dinner back To LTK again, where they brought me a personal tablet PC/TV to use during dinner. There was also a very good Sinatra impersonator singing. The environment and cool tech somewhat made up for the less than amazing service which I did not expect after mMnday. I sat with an empty plate in front of me attempting to make polite and meaningful eye contact with my, and eventually any server, for twenty minutes, the last seven or so of which I'd had a credit card conspicuously. I'd seen every server in the place except mine walk by twice and eventually had to wave one over specifically to get attention. This delayed my attendance to the party enough that I eventually decided to watch House before heading over.
And today... we had a false emergency alarm. Joy. Maybe it was a ghost.
