Originally uploaded by khyriI was returning from my daily walk around the grounds yesterday, when I saw this fine specimen sunning himself on the frame of the door that leads into the research area, where my office is.
There was no way I could have used that door without disturbing his afternoon. So I took out my cellphone, snapped a couple of great pictures, and then walked round the long way instead.

I'm going to try to have a quiet weekend. With ice cream. We'll see how well I succeed.
