Coming Out kudos!
Kudos to both Zachary Quinto (Spock from ST Reboot) and Sean Maher (Playboy Club, Firefly) for publicly coming out. As National Coming Out Day was this past week, they picked a perfect time to do it!

And my .02 cents on this - if you're gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender - and it is personally safe for you to do so - come out. Not only will you feel so much better about yourself for admitting the truth to the people you love, but you'll open yourself up to a tremendous support system of people who know what you're going through and are willing to help you get through it.
Because it does get better. And we're just like everyone else.
