an araceli_maura wrote some good shit, and I thought I'd repay the favour with this luke-warm shit. It's dead bad short because I've never written for DW before, so I'm easing myself into it. Heh.
summary She's lost her smile. He helps her find it.
"Oh, come on, Rose, turn that frown upside down!" The Doctor tells her and jumps around in front of her. "Smile! Go on, it's not going to kill you.... Though it didn't work out too well for the Garpols from Fraxonthipen III..."
She tries, but it doesn't stay for long. It trickles down, sliding all the way down her throat and hides under her shirt. "I must have lost it," she tells him with a small and sad laugh.
His eyes are suddenly very serious and quite close. He reaches his hand out and pulls her tightly to him. "Then we'll have to go and find it," his voice is soft and breathy. She wonders if it's been wrapped in candy-floss, because when his lips meet hers, he tastes sweet and melts inside of her.
When he pulls back, she smirks slightly and he frowns. "You cheeky sod," he tells her lightly and kisses her again as a smile tickles her lips.
