Recipe of the whatever: Salad of Kani-ness!

The Salad of Kani-ness

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cucumber - Peel, grate the flesh, keep the seeds out
  • 1/4 Cabbage - Slice thinly like coleslaw
  • 3 Nori Strips - Just cut them up like thin rectangles
  • 5 Crab Sticks - Shred them to pieces, as long as the cucumber pieces
  • Mayonnaise - Best with Japanese Mayo. Put as much as you want
Cooking Instructions
  1. Prep the ingredients as stated above
  2. Put them in a bowl
  3. Plop a dash of mayo. Might taste a little more 'exotic' if you place some WEE bit of Wasabi and lemon juice. It's optional. Pepper too, and garlic if you like it in a more aioli style
  4. Mix then chill in the fridge. Best served cold.

I basically did this out of frustration that I didn't have enough of that Kani Salad in damn Kitaro. Here's my version of it and it's YUMMY! My mom is getting seconds, and I'm... enjoying it. As easy as my pesto dish, this is a hassle free kind of cooking. If you don't like holding knives and graters, don't bother. Other than that, try the meal and enjoy! Look! Iconage of Anthony Bourdain! I swear, I love this guy. I wish this has an autolink option. :3 Ahhh~~! Makes me miss wordpress.
