(no subject)
This past week and a half has been kind of bittersweet for me.
Last week I found out that one of my mom's friends died of a heart attack and that a girl I went to high school with (she was a senior when I was a freshman) was killed in a car accident with her husband who had JUST gotten back from Iraq. Then, on Tuesday Andy found out that the woman who babysat him from the time he was born until he was about 13 and who he visited every few weeks passed away from cancer. So, there have been a lot of deaths and it's been really sad. :(
But, Friday-Tuesday was fall break and that was really relaxing. And I found out yesterday that I got an A on my Spanish exam and I found out today that I got an A on my Psychology exam! Plus, my birthday was yesterday! I'm 19 now, weird! I don't feel any different.
My fall break was a good one. Nan came home with me and we pretty much went shopping everyday and went out to eat. It was nice to see my family and Andy again. It gets harder to leave every week I'm home. Sigh.
I had my history midterm today and I'm pretty sure I got an A on it. It really helped having Raney before because I knew what to prepare for. It's really weird because I've retained pretty much EVERYTHING we've talked about. I didn't need to look over my notes that much. I studied from about 11-1245 and then went to take it. Lol. I think it's just because I love history so much and I think it's so fascinating. I wish it was like that for every class!
I donno if I wrote about this or not but a few weeks ago Andy got in two accidents within two weeks. He got rear-ended both times and so his car is pretty much done for. Lol, it's driveable but I don't think it's going to hold out much longer. He took it around town to get some estimates and some opinions about what to do and they've pretty much all told him that he should just have it totaled out and then get a check for the worth of it pre-accidents. So he's looking about about getting $3000 because of his stereo and rims and what not that was in it. He told me today that he's going to go look at a 2002 Impala and I really hope he gets it!!! It's charcoal gray (aka our favorite color for a car, haha) and it sounds really nice!
BREAKING NEWS! Ronnie just told me he got into Kettering!!!! AHH!!! That's so amazing! Kettering is such a good school for the field he wants and it's so tough to get into. I'm so happy for him!
I don't really have much else to type about! I'm hungry and sleepy so I think I'm going to nap. I'll update later!
