I said I was gonna update this more often and then I don't for like, a week. Lol. Ah well. Such is life.
Ever since I started astronomy late last month, I've really grown to love it. I've learned so much already and it's really teaching me to appreciate the Earth. I've gotten really obsessed with looking at pictures of star trails, they're so amazing. It kind of makes me want to get a film camera so I can put it on long exposure and try it myself.
Going home last weekend was really nice. The first two weeks of leaving my family and Andy behind last semester really sucked, and were pretty bad this year too so it felt really good to go home and see them all. Friday I basically laid around with Andy all day and cuddled him. I REALLY missed that! Saturday he worked on his car for a little bit and I got my laundry all caught up. My mom and I hung out in his room and watched TV on his 42 inch plasma, lol. Sunday Andy and I went shopping! :) He bought me shirts from Hollister. I really didn't want him to but he's a sweetheart and wouldn't take no for an answer. :) I love him! I went over to my dad's for a little bit too and visited him, Kathy, Nicky and Tabby. Monday there was a Law & Order: SVU marathon on TV and since Andy and I are basically obsessed we didn't do much else. :D
I haven't really worked much yet. I've gone in a couple times to sit in on hearings but teen court doesn't start until September 22nd so there's nothing for me to do until then. I don't mind though. I like work but I really like being done with everying by noon three days a week. I might try to squeeze in another job, I'm not sure yet. I'd really like some cash flow this year other than the two checks I get at the end of each semester. We'll see.

Andy and I have been talking lately, and I've been informed that around Christmas time there will be a new rock on my finger. :) I've been showing him rings that I like to kind of give him a starting point. I guess one of his longtime family friends is a jeweler and she's going to let him custom design the ring. He knows I really want an Asscher cut diamond (I think it's THE most gorgeous cut) and so I guess the jeweler has a couple 1+ carats in her vault! Hooray! I'm getting really excited. I've kind of been ready for this since like, the day I met him. I can not stress enough how sure I've been that he's the one for me. It's so amazing. People talk all the time about how hard it is to find someone and there are so many people. It feels really good to say that I'm 18 and I'm POSITIVE that I've found the right person for me. My grandma still has me beat though, she met and married my grandpa by 17. Lol. Daaaang. I'm so ready to be engaged and shit, I'd even love to be married. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to do that while I'm still at Hillsdale when I'm not sure what I want to do with my life. I don't want to uproot him and make him follow me all over Michigan.
I'm really, really, REALLY feeling the urge to go spend money. I must resist this until Sunday. Nancy and I are meeting my mom in Troy for some shoe shopping and Somerset fun! :D It is also imperative that I get Starbucks. There is a grande double chocolate chip frapp calling my name. I haven't had one in soooo long. Mmmm.
I'm not really sure why, but I can't go to any store with cards without buying one. I've got like 8 just waiting to be written in and shipped out in my filing cabinet. Amazing. And I know as soon as I go to Walmart next or Hallmark, I'm going to walk out with more. I never thought I'd be one of the card girlfriends. Oh how things change. :P
My dad was supposed to send me money on Thursday. Here's to hoping it comes tomorrow and not Monday. I'd love to use it in Troy.
My obsession with George Harrison is growing. I'm not sure how this happened. Andy bought me 33 and 1/3 the other day while we were in Best Buy and I've been listening to it non-stop. I donno, maybe with this astronomy kick I'm on and how he was so involved environmentally, how spiritual he was. I can't explain it. His music is just SO good.

When I'm telling someone how I feel. Unless it's a research paper, I don't have a way with words and I get very self-conscious about that.

I don't think I've ever been REALLY angry. I get upset but life is way too short for even that.

I don't want to think about that. :( I'd probably call my mom and then make her pass the phone around with Ronnie and Andy and then have her three way my dad.

I would tell all my loved ones, I'd feel terrible if they didn't know. I'd continue to live my life to the fullest. And no, I wouldn't be afraid. I have faith in God and have put my trust in Him and know that I will be well taken care of in His hands.

Well, I'd probably choose trust. I think that's when you know you really love someone, when you can trust them with anything and everything. Love partially comes to people that way.

I'd save the dog. I was almost late for my night class the other day because there was a hurt crow and the other crows were trying to peck it to death. So I ran over there and shoo-ed them away and let the hurt crow rest and catch its breath and stayed with it for a while. Then I called 911 and got a hold of a woman who rehabilitate's hurt birds and she came and picked him up.

Well, for me, that's the same thing. My love and trust are with the same person.

This has happened to me more than once before. I acted on it once and that lasted like 12 days, haha. Other times I just let it go and tell them there's no chance. As of now, there would definitely be no chance since I'm more than happy with Andy.

If an hour would make a huge difference in their life, definitely.

Definitely. I try to be a good friend and of course my humor just attracts everyone to me. :-P

Definitely not. Sex can come from love but they're not even close to being equal. Love is an emotional connection, sex is physical.
12. Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
I don't think so. I wouldn't want to get rid of my livelihood and all that I've worked for. My coworker would have different options thru the government as a means to get some income until they can find another job.
13. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
When I told Rachel off. It was really hard for me to say, but she was accusing me of shit and trying to throw a story together to put the blame on me. She was my best friend, but I wasn't going to be treated like shit. She was acting like I had never done anything with her and was pissed that I was hanging out with Andy instead of her. In our entire friendship, we really didn't hang out that much and so I had no clue why she was pissed about it. I basically removed her from my life. It was really hard but I don't regret it. I felt like I either had to give up her or Andy, and when you just know from the start that someone is right for you, you do what you have to to keep them in your life.
14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a friend, you love them or that you do not love them back?
That you don't love them back. It takes a lot of balls to tell someone how you feel but it'd be really hard to say that you don't feel the same way.

Andy or my mom. They're both such big parts of my life, I couldn't imagine life without them.

That's a tough one. I'd let go of the baby and have my grandma catch it on the way down. Silly as that sounds, it's true. I couldn't just let both go. Or I'd have someone else grab the other. Though with my arm strength, this question is challenging.
