i hate how i loose the ability to write good chord progressions & melodies. right now i can program a killer drum line but then i'm stuck.
i should be able to do this even with out inspiration. in my sleep: I IV V I, or V iv iii ii i, any of that.
seventh chords don't sound funky enough. i can't even write dance music right now.
