I just got back the report from the MRI I did last week, and looks like I have a torn "anterior cruciate" ligament in my knee.  This explains my continuing problem with instability in rotation of that joint, even-though I can walk without the need of a brace.  You just don't think of the complexities of what a joint goes through until you've injured it... I've had to retrain myself on how to get into my car to drive without rotating or angling my left leg.

So now, it's time to see an orthopedist to see what (if anything) can be done for my knee.  Whee.

Meanwhile, I've started a woodworking project: Repurpose an antique typesetter's die drawer into a spice rack (as I have a *lot* of spices, and would like to organize them better than the pile in the cabinet).

If anyone's curious, I'm keeping a photo journal of it: http://gallery.me.com/khromat#100010
