He couldn’t avoid her forever. Couldn’t shove aside what they had started. Yet, couldn’t claim ownership either. A different tactic, aside from the Sunday rendezvous, was needed. It dawned on Hibari while he was lying awake in bed. Females liked presents: flowers, chocolates, rings etc. While he didn’t really want to follow conventional wisdom, Kyoya couldn’t help but wonder if she loved the Namimori uniform so much to have one hand-made…what if…
“What the hell?!” Ken yelled from downstairs. Chrome woke up feeling like she had been through this before. After dressing and descending the stairs, Chrome found the bottom floor of the lobby was crawling with Namimori Disciplinary members. Ken and Chikusa turned and looked at the girl as if she had turned traitor, yet Chrome had no words. Nothing to defend herself or deny any part of this, too stunned to even speak.
One of the committee members approached her, “Little sister” he addressed her, causing Chrome’s left eye to grow wide. “What…” she swallowed, “what’s going on?” the girl asked. Her gut instinct was to materialize a trident, but considering they were surrounded
“Our chairman wants to see you.” Chrome wanted to run, but where would she go or rather how far, since the abandoned amusement park was surrounded by Hibari-san’s subordinates. Cautiously, Chrome followed the teenage boy away from the stairwell and to the main lobby, where Hibari occupied the couch again.
He didn’t turn to face them and Chrome turned only to find herself abandoned by the ‘guide’. Left alone, she trudged forward while a million questions cropped up and crowded the girl’s gray matter. ‘Why is he here? Hibari himself said we’re over. And why bring everyone from his committee?’
Questions ground to a halt when Chrome stood in front of the sofa. She noticed Hibari eye her green school uniform in disgust for a moment before his expression returned to neutral. Chrome’s attention was drawn to the table in between her stance and the sofa. Sitting on top of the surface was a piece of paper resting beside a stack of folded Namimori female uniform, six in total.
Since Hibari was staring at the table, then looked up at her, Chrome figured she had to take the paper to at least read it, once it was in her grasp the girl realized it was a school transfer form.
All her private information filled out, some of it altered to give her a physical address which didn’t involve the desecrated ‘health center’.
“You’ll start attending Namimori Middle today.” Hibari finally said as if the transfer sheet had been clear enough. “Sign your name and we can get going. I’ll have others collect your…possessions and have it moved to the address on the form.”
Chrome’s head was swimming. Yesterday, he wanted nothing more to do with her. Now…Hibari-san had arranged it so she could go to his school and have a proper home? This didn’t make sense. Chrome looked up to see a pen being offered to her from Hibari’s right hand.
She’d only have to fill in her name and sign it and the transfer would be done. Chrome felt like she was internally curling inward. This didn’t feel right. It was just a transfer, just a piece of paper. Yet it felt wrong, like she’d be betraying Ken, Chikusa and of course Mukuro-sama.
‘It’s not a betrayal. This is…unexpected, but it’s bringing you one step closer to what I want.’ Mukuro suddenly interrupted her internal debate.
Reply
Chrome backed away from the lobby and gave into her cowardly impulses and ran up the stairs, back to her room. Although it’d do little good, she locked the door, while sinking with her back against the wooden barrier.
Mukuro-sama didn’t question her choice, yet Chrome had a feeling he was somehow disappointed by the turn of events. No more. She was through of playing. Mukuro-sama wanted her to…entice Hibari-san somehow and Hibari-san wanted her to be constantly in his line of sight by going to his school. No. She was done.
Chrome stayed vigilant, back ramrod straight against the door with a trident now in her hands and clutched tightly. After twenty minutes and no one came chasing after her, Chrome gingerly rose up, unlocked the door and peered out. No one on the second level, so she tip-toed down the stairs, hands trembling while holding the trident.
“There you are!” Ken exclaimed when she reached the main lobby.
Chikusa tilted glasses back up to the bridge of his nose, “We thought one of the committee members had caught and kidnapped you.”
‘And the two of you were just going to stay here if that did happen?’ Chrome wondered, but then remembered who she was talking about. She wasn’t Mukuro-sama to them, so her safety didn’t matter. “Makes you wonder though, that guy stuck around for at least a full ten minutes after he told everyone to clear out” the blond haired boy said.
“Hibari-san?”
Ken snorted, “Who cares about his name. He didn’t move for a long time after you took off.”
‘That’s not good. He must be planning to come back.’ Chrome thought. She couldn’t stay at the abandoned amusement park. She needed to go somewhere safe.
Kyoya wasn’t looking for trouble, only a fight. It couldn’t be just anyone though. Someone who was challenging so he wouldn’t ‘think’ for awhile. She told him ‘no’ and it didn’t sit right with the Cloud Guardian.
His trek led Hibari to Sawada’s home. A black car parked out in front, men in suits surrounding the street. Kyoya recognized the crest on their lapels. Bucking Horse’s people…perfect.
“Thanks for stopping by Dino.” Reborn said, sitting on top of the towering stacks of financial papers and spread sheets cradled in Tsuna’s arms. The blond-haired mafia boss grinned, “Not a problem. If you need help with those sheets Tsuna, I’ll be sticking around for a little longer.”
The brunette haired boy seemed ready to take the offer, since he was terrible at math yet today Reborn enlisted Dino’s help in instructing the future boss how to balance expenses. Before the words could come out though, Reborn interrupted, “That’s not good. Tsuna’s gotta learn how to do it himself.”
Tsuna whined, head against the paper stacks, “Why are you so cruel?” he asked. Dino shrugged, “That’s our Spartan tutor for you. Well, if Reborn says you have to handle it, I’ll be heading back to the hotel.”
Tsuna left the papers on the kitchen table before turning to say goodbye to his ‘elder brother’, only to be shocked since Dino was still standing in the open doorway. Peering over the man’s shoulders, Tsuna saw what was so shocking. Dino’s men were laying unconscious out in the street, at least twenty grown men in all; with Hibari standing over them. Before Tsuna could stop a fight from breaking out in front of his house, Dino had his whip out and charged at his former pupil.

Dino wasn’t sure ‘what’ had gotten into Kyoya. He knew the boy from training him and rarely did the teenager actively seek him out, usually it was the mafia boss chasing after Hibari. But not only had Hibari sought him out, but attacked his men- well known to be one of Dino’s triggers. Yet, even though the boy was angry, he wasn’t really fighting, not all out like he normally does. He seemed distracted and less confident than previous spars. “You…” he dodged a tonfa strike, “want to talk about something?” Dino asked. He got a glare in response, but not verbal threats and the follow up hit,an attempt at an upper cut with the metal baton, was a touch slower.
“I’ll take that as a ‘yes’.” Dino sighed before wrapping his whip around the right tonfa to stop Hibari’s momentum a little. “Trouble at school?” A quicker strike. “No of course not. Usually you are causing the trouble, am I right?” Kyoya tensed, “I keep order at Namimori, I don’t ‘cause’ trouble” he gritted out. “Girl troubles then?” Dino guessed. He really didn’t expect it to be the case; however Dino could only draw that conclusion when Hibari stopped moving, only to reanimate and strike violently.
“Oh…” the boss grinned, “Kyoya has a girlfriend? That’s cute.” For that comment, Dino nearly had his nose ground into his face if it wasn’t for a quick crack of his whip restraining the blunt weapon back. “Or…not girlfriend. If you were getting anywhere, probably wouldn’t be this frustrated.” Dino observed. Kyoya’s jaw tightened. This was a waste of his time, the ‘Horse’ wasn’t even fighting him seriously, too busy chattering away.
“You’re being annoying. Shut up and fight or I’ll have your men carried away and buried alive.” Dino’s gaze narrowed, uncoiled his whip and stood obstinately, “You are acting like a spoiled child. I don’t fight children, Kyoya.” The mafia boss expected another blind charge, instead the Japanese school boy stood perfectly still.
“…don’t know what to do, right?” Dino asked, switching from stern to the ‘big brother’ mode he used with Tsuna. He smiled, “Must be someone very special to leave you this confused.” “Not at all.” Kyoya replied briskly. Dino still tried to offer advice, “Have you tried…not acting like a homicidal being bent on destroying everything that annoys him?”
Dark eyebrows cocked up. Silent sarcasm, only Kyoya. “Right, bad idea. Be yourself, that’s a much better way to be.” Dino returned dryly. “Presents then?” A scowl. “Ah, already tried that yet she still turned you down. It’s probably better that way. You don’t want girls who are easily bought with trinkets, Kyoya. That kind of woman will only stay around so long as you spoil them.”
“Are we going to fight or are you just talking to hear yourself?” Kyoya asked in a tense tone. “Let me finish with this one last thing. You’re going about this all wrong. Girls are…delicate you can’t just bulldoze your way to them like you do in fights, Kyoya. Subtly and kindness is needed.”
“…animals have it so much easier.” Kyoya muttered. “What was that?” Dino asked, only to find himself dodging tonfa swings again. After a couple hours of them fighting on Tsuna’s block- Romario and back up from Dino’s family taken the fallen to the hospital to recover from possible concussions- Dino and Kyoya barely had any fight left in them.
“I think I know what your problem is.” Kyoya snorted, arm raised with the tonfa out, but swayed a little on his feet. He was tired. That was the only reason he was even ‘pretending’ to listen to the Horse’s nonsense. “It sounds to me like your courtship stargedy is similar to a Bowerbird. You see the male builds a nest and decorates it to attract the female…”
“Wao. You should host a nature show.” Kyoya replied, dripping with sarcasm. Dino smiled, though the expression was a touch strained, he had after all wasted an afternoon ‘trying’ to offer sound advice to a troubled- if violent- teenager. “Anyway, your thinking now probably is along the lines ‘if I buy and give her bigger and more expensive things, she’ll come into my nest’. And as I said before, that only works with the wrong kind of woman. The one who’s out for what she can get from you. Not a partner you really want.”

Kyoya was only listening because the Horse wouldn’t shut up if he didn’t at least pretend to be taking his advice to heart. Still, the prefect found himself without an excuse when he asked, “So, in your lowly opinion what should I do…in terms of courtship to get a partner I want.”
Dino was torn between excitement and worry. Excited because Kyoya was willingly being attentive to something which didn’t involve fighting, but also worried…no terrified. Because if Kyoya was taking him seriously…then that meant there was a special lady out there. Special enough for Kyoya to put down his pride for a few minutes. Someone Kyoya felt was worthy enough of his attention…and if she accepted…that would mean the possibility of ‘little’ Hibari-s-. The thought of his former student reproducing sent a shiver down his spine. So yes, Dino was torn.
“Well uh…I’m really not one to go to for advice on how to get a girl, usually they come to me” the blond mafia boss said. “…you don’t say.” Was Hibari’s very dry response, not at all impressed by the Bronco’s ‘subtle’ boasting about his good looks.
“But, my winning personality and jackpot genetics aside, the only thing I can suggest you do is…”The pause dragged on for nearly a minute, wearing Kyoya’s patience and also making it clear he was listening and annoyed his ‘mentor’ was withholding a secret.
“Nothing” For his attempt at being dramatic and ‘cute’, Dino had a tonfa thrown at his head. After a momentary black-out, blood coming from a wound on his head, Dino blinked around crimson to see his student walking away. “Wait, Kyoya I didn’t finish what I had to say!”
--“Sorry for intruding.” Chrome said, bowing to Tsuna’s mother. She felt a bit better knowing Boss, while reluctant; was allowing her to stay for a short time- of course having a gun pointed at his head by Reborn helped the mafia boss decide rather quickly.
“Ah you’re Bianchi’s friend?” Nana asked. “S-something like that” Chrome muttered. Much like she had vaguely explained to Tsuna and Reborn, Chrome didn’t want people to know it was Hibari-san she was hiding from. Or exactly why she wanted to hide from him, however Bianchi was surprisingly astute.
“You look like someone who’s had their heart broken” she said not a moment after Chrome put bags down and moved to put her clothes away. A left eye blinked owlishly, “I…no…it’s not love. We…he only wanted to feel me up most of the time.”
A lazy smile appeared on the woman’s lips, “Sometimes that’s the only way a man can express himself.” Chrome doubted she and Bianchi were on the same page. “He…he got angry at me yesterday and then suddenly wanted to come back and bribe me…with clothes and a place to stay.” Chrome tried to explain. Bianchi leaned back on the bed, magazine forgotten, “And your answer to his offer?”
“No.” Chrome replied, feeling like she might be scolded. Bianchi reacted differently than she predicted though, “Good job then. Love is important but it can’t be bought.” ‘Is it really a ‘good job’ though if Hibari-san doesn’t really listen?’ Chrome wondered. She didn’t want to bring trouble to the Boss and his family, but since Hibari-san felt comfortable enough to invade the health center whenever he felt like it…
“Let me ask you this then…” the long haired woman asked, able to look so poised and casual while reclining on the large bed they’d be sharing, “Do you like him?”
-Chrome swallowed, nervously shifting on her feet. She didn’t want to answer that. What did her feelings matter anyway? She told Hibari-san early on that she didn’t want to be touched, yet he did it anyway as if nothing had been said at all.
When he touched her, Chrome recalled feeling good for a little while. Other than Mukuro-sama needing her body on occasion and serving Tsuna as a Mist Guardian, no one else really needed or wanted her around. Looking back, Chrome knew she had been stupid for believing it was something good for her. To be treated like a doll or an object in general.
“I do…like him, but” Chrome’s voice trailed off. She didn’t want to be ‘bought’ or be used for whatever Mukuro-sama wanted with Hibari. Not anymore.

After a few days spent with Boss and his ‘lively’ family, Chrome received a text from Chikusa that all was clear on the home front and asked when she would be coming back. Seeing it as a sign she had taken advantage of the Sawada family enough, Chrome thanked Nana-san for her hospitality, Boss for letting her stay, and Reborn-san for making her stay.
“I’ll walk with you.” Bianchi offered, carrying a bag of Chrome’s before the girl could protest. For awhile their walk was dead quiet, then…
“Have you been thinking about what I said?” she inquired. Chrome nibbled her lip, “A little bit”, the girl admitted. “One last thing,” Bianchi began, “Do not become a martyr. Love is a great thing but it also means little it you don’t respect yourself.”
Chrome took those words to heart because it seemed Bianchi was experienced in these sort of things. Once they reached the bus stop, Bianchi returned to the Sawada house, Chrome having only to wait a few minutes until the bus pulled to the curb. She boarded, yet stopped for a moment, heart in her throat as a violet colored eye spotted someone on a motorcycle. The bike stopped at the red light, yellow bird momentarily stopping on the handle bars before taking flight again. The rider’s face was obscured by a helmet, but for a moment Chrome had a very irrational thought.
What if it was him? Swallowing, she sank down into a bus bench, keeping her head ducked until the rider pulled away once the light changed. Once back the amusement park, Chrome never felt so glad to see the broken windows and worn down buildings. No one to inquire about her ‘love life’ or dispense advice, no more explosions or interruptions as meal time…no more Hibari-san coming around to toy with her body as he pleased.
Two months. And he was in hell. It had to be hell. For although he hadn’t seen the girl in eight weeks- and counting- Kyoya Hibari found himself mentally assaulted from all sides: he couldn’t sleep without her face appearing and his concentration whenever he heard a female voice pass outside the Reception Room in between class changes.
He would put up with it though, because this was a test. Or rather a challenge issued to him by Dino. That Bronco told him if he waited long enough, the girl would come back to him: “You probably scared her by being so…well you. Back off a little and have her miss you”. How long was he supposed to wait though?
Members of the Discipline Committee gave their leader a very wide space as the days dragged on. He was never a mellow or peaceable person, but lately his bellicose nature seemed to be heightened. Kyoya had been made aware- thanks to information given to him by his deputy- that Chrome Dokuro, finally had a name to go with the girl; was staying at Sawada for a short time. However, when he asked the baby about it, it ‘smirked’ at him and walked on. Scowling, Kyoya looked out at the empty courtyard, no one left on campus. Then, just as he was about to turn away from the window, Kyoya spotted movement. Looking back to the pane of glass, he saw a girl timidly set foot on his school courtyard.
Small, purple hair, right side of face covered by a black eye patch and…despite his best efforts a smirk formed on Kyoya’s mouth, because she was wearing the Namimori uniform. “So, looks like the Bronco wasn’t so stupid after all.” Only for Hibari to glare around the room and make sure no one else heard him admit Dino was useful for something. Luckily, only Hibrid was around, otherwise there would have been bloodshed.

Once the girl, Chrome, groveled and said she was an idiot for rejecting his offers, then Kyoya could grace her with his attention again. It’s how it worked with his committee members. If they messed up on a job, they’d beg for forgiveness and pledge to do anything, so in Kyoya’s mind this girl would do the same: beg and then make up for her foolishness.
A small shiver, a perverse sort of pleasure rippling through him, hormones so deprived of the new found outlet, because just the thought of her prostrate on the floor and pleading was enough to get a rise out of Kyoya.
A quick glance to the window, she was no longer visible in the courtyard thus he assumed the girl must already be inside. So, he had ten minutes to wait at the most. Ten minutes turned to twenty. Thirty. Forty. Fifty…what was keeping her so long? Did she get lost? …probably. Stupid herbivores and their sense of direction…
In the end he decided it was high time to take a quick patrol around the school (not because he was within an inch of finding Dokuro and dragging her back to the office if Kyoya found her cowering somewhere), but because Kyoya needed to make his rounds to make sure the clubs and other committees weren’t plotting against him.
Little did he know that while Chrome was on campus, she was hardly lost…
“So that guy over there..” Chrome’s gaze followed where the Rain Guardian was pointing, namely the person several meters behind the pitcher.
“That’s the…” she frowned while mulling over all the baseball positions he had taught her, “the short stop?”
The boy beamed, “Yep! Now number 59 is…” “Takeshi, you’re up next to bating practice” the coach interrupted. “Got it, see you in a little while Chrome.” She offered a very small and insecure smile in response to his megawatt one.
‘Why are we here?’ Mukuro complained. He seemed to be very ill-tempered with her as of late. Chrome refused to budge this time though. She was leaving Hibari-san alone, to his own devices so whatever her body-buddy was planning, he’d have to do it some other way.
“We’re here because I want to try to befriend, Yamamoto-san.” Chrome replied in a whisper, luckily she was distant enough that no one would guess she was talking to herself, or rather talking to the person inside her head. Mukuro chuckled but it sounded a touch bitter. ‘Like it is that difficult to befriend him in the first place? Honestly Chrome, all you have to do is be within twenty feet of Yamamoto and you’re his ‘friend’.’
Well, maybe Mukuro-sama had a point there. Yamamoto-san was so open and friendly that he kind of reminded Chrome of a very affectionate puppy. And considering the ‘carnivore’ she had tried to get to know months earlier, Chrome thought a ‘puppy’ was a nice change of pace. She saw no point in befriending someone who didn’t want friends and Yamamoto-san loved people, so in her mind it was a win-win. At least until she had enough courage to deal with Gokudera-san’s surliness, Lambo’s hyperactivity and Ryohei-san’s extremeness. So, Takeshi Yamamoto was her break from the intensity.
Or so she thought. For while Chrome was busy watching the baseball team practice- and being drilled on the finer points of the game by Yamamoto-san- the girl had no idea she had been spotted sitting on the bleachers until it was too late to run.

‘This is exactly why teenage boys should not be allowed to have S&M gear as part of their weapon arsenal’ the other illusionist said with a chuckle, leaving his distressed body-double in the lurch.
‘This isn’t funny Mukuro-sama.’ Chrome thought, cheeks blushing a deep red as Hibari-san managed to pull her along right into the Reception Room. Once the door was secure, Kyoya shortened the chain.
“So…when you said ‘we’re done’. That meant you already had a new partner picked out, is that it?” he snarled.
“What? …no…No! Nothing like that at all!” Chrome said more firmly.
“Then why did I catch you hanging around the baseball field when you’re supposed to…” Kyoya stopped himself. The Cloud found himself treading dangerously close to admitting he wanted Chrome to come along to his office. Not loiter with others.
Coming on too strongly were what got him into this mess in the first place, so the Horse had advised him to ‘play it cool’ and pretend not to care until she started reacting more positive.
“Not that I care what you do.” Kyoya said aloud. ‘But it doesn’t make sense that you would choose one of those sweaty herbivores who’s brains are only geared to chasing balls…’ the teenager mentally grumbled.
“I wanted to talk to Yamamoto-san. …can you take the cuffs off now, please?”
“No. And why were you conversing with him?” Chrome opened her mouth to answer, only to think twice and snapped her jaw shut. “Well?” he jerked the chain, causing her to flinch as metal chaffed against bare wrists.
“I…wanted to talk to him…just to talk” Chrome ended lamely. Honestly, she couldn’t come out and say she was on a crusade to befriend all the other Guardians. It would come out sounding stupid and childish.
“And it never once crossed your mind to apologize before stepping foot on this campus?” Hibari pressed.
“A…apologize?” Chrome questioned. She could understand Hibari-san wanting her to request permission to step on school ground. But, he wanted an apology instead? Hibari gritted his teeth. This ‘playing hard to get’ act was irritating. And he had handcuffs, so the rest was irrelevant. Locking the door to the Reception Room, Hibari stalked forward, shortening the chain as he came closer.
Chrome swallowed as he circled around her, metal links clanking together.
“Yes. Apologize. You turned down a very generous offer without a legitimate reason.” Chrome squirmed under a pointed gaze, “You’re even properly dressed for the occasion, so I’ll give you one last chance to redeem yourself.”
‘I wore this so I wouldn’t stick out and cause Yamamoto-san any trouble.’ Chrome thought, trying to wiggle free. It was a lost cause though since Hibari-san had the handcuff chain less than five centimeters between them.
She noted that Mukuro-sama found this all very amusing, ‘He thinks that you came all this way just for him. Poor Kyoya has fallen hard’ the convict snickered. Chrome frowned, ‘Well he’s about to become very disappointed if that’s the case’ she replied.
‘Ah, I wouldn’t let me guard down around him if I were you, Chrome.’ Mukuro cautioned. However, the warning came too late because Chrome turned on her heel, only to find herself backed into the wall.
A violet colored eye grew wide just before he closed in and roughly latched onto her mouth. The action barely qualified as a kiss since it was so aggressive and lacking in tender feelings. Chrome struggled to break free, but Hibari-san pressed on her shoulders to keep the girl in place.

‘He does lack finesse when it comes to sex. Determination…he has in spades, but no actual style or patience.’ Mukuro’s observations were blocked out for a moment though as Chrome keened and pushed against the intruding fingers.
Then Hibari-san pulled away. His face looked flushed, hungry gaze fixated on Chrome before leaning in to nip at her ribbon tie.
“S-stop…stop it…” she pushed against his head, trying to get Hibari-san to budge, but the Cloud seemed to just as determined not to be moved from the spot between where shirt collar met her neck.
“I don’t want you to touch me!” Chrome blurted out at last. Kyoya stopped, looking at the girl’s distressed expression for a moment. Chrome knew she should fight back, this wasn’t right for him to use her body as he pleased. Or for Hibari-san to assume that just because she was at his school and wearing the uniform, didn’t mean he had free reign to molest her. But, he honestly looked confused by her assertion.
“Then why do you keep coming back?” he asked. “Why say this now…” he pulled away. Kyoya wondered if this was ‘playing hard to get’ again, the Horse warned him there were some females who liked toying around just for the thrill of it.
Could it be that she was only playing with him?
“I…wanted to be your friend.” Chrome confessed. “I don’t have ‘friends’.” Kyoya shot back without a thought.
“Yes, I realize that now!” Chrome replied. “You have…subordinates…and since I’m not one of your committee members…I became your toy. I won’t put up with this anymore.”
Maybe, Kyoya pondered, if he let her out of the handcuffs she’d be a little less hysterical. With that in mind, Kyoya deactivated the Vongola gear…only to watch her bolt for the door to unlock it once freed. Not about to put up with being walked out on, Kyoya grabbed Chrome from behind, holding her hands back.
“Let me go, let me go!” Chrome struggled, bucking against Hibari-san’s hold on her.
He carried the girl back a few paces before loosening his grip enough to turn Chrome around and kissed her again. Chrome’s first reaction was to pull away, but found it difficult to move as Hibari held a hand behind her head. Unlike the first ‘kiss’, he was gentle, slower and applied less pressure. Suckered in by the change in attitude, Chrome found herself willingly returning kisses. Of course her positive response only affirmed Kyoya’s belief Chrome had been resisting only to lead him on.
So as ‘punishment’, he reached under the uniform top and worked her bra down to cup the girl’s breasts.
“Ah…H-Hibari-san…” she muttered, blushing while trying to scoot away from his hands, but they stuck like glue to her skin.
“Quiet, you are such a…” he gave up looking for the word and kissed her again. Chrome was very confused about her situation. She knew it was time to get out, if this went much further getting rid of Hibari-san would be next to impossible from now on. But…she also liked it when he was gentle and at least ‘acted’ like being considerate.
She knew it was wrong and just falling back into the same pattern of letting Hibari-san use her, but…
Chrome’s fingertips gently touched black hair as Hibari-san moved from her mouth to the girl’s neck. A button to her blouse popped open, but he kept the ribbon tie in tact before kissing and biting Chrome’s neck. Chrome had took little steps backwards, her hand reaching to unlock Reception Room door but gave up the attempt as Kyoya directed the girl to a wall again.
‘Déjà vu…’ Chrome told herself as she bucked against Hibari-san. He groaned and thrust into her in response. “Careful…” Chrome began, “don’t want to make a mess again.”
Kyoya recoiled, glaring down at her. “…last time…you came, right?” Chrome asked. “Must have been embarrassing…for you to lack in control to where you came before even…”

‘Please…I don’t know how to get him to stop long enough to…sort this mess out.’
‘I think you’re past the point of ‘sorting’ anything out, Chrome’ he added in a light tone as Hibari-san had a hand on her right thigh and it was steadily going up.
‘Please!’ Chrome begged. ‘Offer him a deal.’ While Mukuro instructed Chrome as to how to go about it, the girl blushed while following orders to unbutton Kyoya’s uniform shirt.
He paused to stare at her fingers, but didn’t move to stop it either. Instead Kyoya shivered as fingertips gently caressed his chest.
‘He’s rather skinny and effeminate for a sixteen year old boy, don’t you think Chrome?’ Mukuro said as a parting shot now that he had given instructions.
While Kyoya was distracted, the girl started talking. “T-this isn’t right. We shouldn’t be doing this here.”
For once he had to agree with her. Shrugging her hands off, Kyoya started buttoning his shirt again. “We’ll go to my house then.”
“Um…no I mean…we shouldn’t…be doing this. At all.” Gray eyes glared at the girl as Chrome cringed.
“Not even…taking into account how old we are, but…we’re not even dating so…it’s wrong to be so…casual…about all of this.”
“Speak up. I don’t like listening to you mumble your way through a sentence.” “Go out with me” Chrome said loud and clear. Kyoya’s fingers stopped at the last button to his shirt before delivering a flat, “What?”
Chrome nodded to affirm she had said it right the first time, but repeated nevertheless, “Take me out on dates…not…every weekend or holiday or even for…special events, but just sometimes.”
Kyoya Hibari connected ‘dating’ with those sappy herbivores who let their hormones run away with them and call it ‘love’, just to make themselves feel better. While what they were doing was…provocative, at least Kyoya felt he knew what he was getting into. It was purely sexual, there was no reason to dress it up or confess ‘undying love’ when Kyoya didn’t know the girl’s name until two months ago.
“I don’t think so.” “T-then you get nothing.” Chrome said making a point to cross arms over her blouse then moved to adjust her bra back into place.
This didn’t sit well with the committee chairman either. What he wanted was right in front of him, just barely in the palm of Kyoya’s hand. Terrorizing or threatening her proved to have the opposite effect he desired out of her…and she didn’t seem to care too much for the handcuffs either.
“How many ‘dates’ do you want to schedule?”
“Ummm…I really haven’t…thought of a specific number, just every once in awhile. Is…once a month too much to ask for?” she questioned.
“Yes.” Kyoya said dryly. He had other things to do than entertain her after all.
“Once every three months then.”
Kyoya pondered it or rather he looked at the girl’s kissed-lips and his bite marks on her neck. Had he really sunk so low, nearly to the point of calling himself a herbivore; that considering taking her out on ‘dates’ would seem rewarding enough to endure?
Reluctantly, he had to admit the answer was yes. Cleary two months without her had addled his senses, but Kyoya was willing to take that chance.
“I will agree to this only if the following conditions are met. I refuse to buy you flowers, candy, stuffed animals or any other ‘token of affection’ object.”
Chrome nodded, “Understood…” “Not finished. I will not have you announcing to people we are…together. That includes him, if you can help it.”
Chrome kept her mouth shut about the fact ‘him’ had been observing and giving her advice for the duration of their entanglement. A little late to spring that on Hibari-san now…

“But…Ken…Chikusa” ‘I live with them, I can’t kick them out or suddenly move away’ Chrome mentally added.“They are exceptions. Same goes with any sort of training or meeting the baby wants you to join. What I mean is you are not allowed to pursue any other males for the duration of our…courtship.”
‘So trying to befriend the other Guardians and getting closer to Boss is out of the question.’ Chrome deduced since the reason she was in the Reception Room in the first place was because of Hibari-san’s jealousy. “Those are my conditions. If you’re willing to accept those, then we can agree on a Sunday date every third month.” Kyoya finished.
‘There’s quite a lot of them. Should I write them down?’ Chrome asked herself, yet was quick to answer verbally so Hibari-san wouldn’t become too testy. “I accept your conditions, but I have one of my own. Just one.” Chrome assured before he snapped back a denial of her terms. “Treat me…kindly, with respect if you can manage it. If not, then just pretend to be nice.” Chrome requested, “If you treat me well, I’ll do the same. I won’t cheat or nag or get in your hair too much.”
Even to her ears it sounded suspiciously like a vow than a request, but in the end Kyoya accepted her single term. Next was a very awkward pause of figuring out what to do next. Then, Hibari-san strode to his desk, moved a stack of papers from the surface to a draw are locked it.
“You are to follow me home, but take the bus to get there. I don’t need rumors going around that I’m fraternizing with you.” She should have taken offense to that instead Chrome let the insult roll off. “I’ll leave first then” she said, at last unlocking the Reception Room door, however whether the door was locked or not did not matter anymore.
Because with this deal Mukuro-sama proposed she offer and Hibari-san’s acceptance, it meant she was still shackled to him. ‘Just until he loses interest’ Chrome thought. Stepping out into afternoon sunlight, Chrome was blindsided from her right when Yamamoto-san appeared.“There you are! I got a little worried when I didn’t see you anymore, Chrome.”
“Um…sorry about that.” Chrome mumbled. “I have to go home now.”
“Okay. There’s a game tomorrow afternoon, if you wanted to come by and watch.”
“I can’t” Chrome blurted out a bit too quickly. Yamamoto-san shook his head, “Alright, some other time then.”
“Perhaps” ‘Never…not as long as Hibari-san has any say in it.’ Chrome thought as she told the Rain Guardian goodbye. On an impulse, Chrome turned to look back at the school. Sure enough, Hibari-san had observed the exchange from his office window.
‘See? I’m being on my best behavior.’ Chrome hoped to convey before she walked off campus to the bus stop.
Kyoya felt apprehensive to what was ahead. He wasn’t ‘afraid’ or ‘nervous’, apprehension described it perfectly, besides only cowards were frightened or anxious about their first time. It was simple biology then again if procreation were more complicated idiots would have been weeded out of the gene pool.
After leaving his office Hibari was followed by Hibird. A frown graced the chairman’s face for a moment. He didn’t want to unceremoniously boot the bird out of his room for the night in favor of the girl, but didn’t desire to have an audience either (even if it was his feathered companion).
“You’ll have to sleep outside tonight. No hard feelings of course” Kyoya said when the bird landed on his right shoulder. Hibird chirped as if it understood then jumped off the boy’s shoulder to take flight.
Since he arrived home before the girl was due to show up, Kyoya made sure his parents weren’t home which. Not surprisingly, the house was empty save for household staff. For a moment he toyed the idea of keeping her, not like anyone but the staff would notice a fourth person living inside the compound. Then again, if he ‘kept’ her that was a little like marriage or rather commitment, and Kyoya despised the idea of being tied down to anything. Let alone a girl who he only had partial ownership of.

Chrome was quick to find her way around the Hibari compound to stand outside the Cloud’s room. Chrome wasn’t sure if this accomplishment meant she had an excellent memory or if she was a pathetic soul who knew this path by heart because the person on the other side was giving her something that resembled affection.
‘Don’t kid yourself.’ Chrome told herself, beating Mukuro-sama to the punch of shooting down that delusion. Opening the door, Chrome only had to step inside before having her mouth claimed in a kiss.
Hands scrambled to put the barrier in place so no one would see them. Once that was accomplished, Chrome found herself getting lost in the kiss. Hibari-san did have a tendency to come on very strongly to the point it was a little frightening, but had proven that occasionally he could be gentle too.
Wanting to see that gentle side again, Chrome tempered his violence and impatience with cooling and slow kisses to his mouth in response. Gradually, fervor receded and he was unconsciously following the girl’s example of teasingly slow contact.
When there was just a sliver of space between them to take in oxygen, Hibari-san ordered, “Take off your panties and bra, leave the uniform untouched though.”
The girl nodded, fingers moving under her skirt to remove a pair of white panties. Chrome watched a dark eyebrow quirk at her choice of undergarment, but he didn’t say anything about it so she moved on to the bra. Unclasping was the easiest part, but wiggling the straps through arm holes of the blouse was another matter and took some time.
Once ‘freed’ of her underwear, it was only a matter of time before Kyoya was all over Chrome again. She shivered as cool fingertips traveled underneath the uniform top. He cupped Chrome’s breasts, flicking a right thumb over the nipple until it perked to the point of being a visible bump underneath the fabric. Then he moved onto the next while the hand previous occupied with the right breast moved down the band of her pleated skirt. Fingertips sought and found Chrome’s slit, slowly prying her open with two fingers and stroking to encourage arousal.
A whimper escaped the female mist as her body started to hum into life at his touches. Again, her hands reached for Kyoya’s uniform shirt. Like earlier, he didn’t resist nor encourage her to open his shirt. Nor was a complaint heard as the girl kissed his collar bone and worked down Kyoya’s chest.
Removing his hands from underneath Chrome’s shirt and skirt, Kyoya started loosening the belt to trousers, followed by the zipper. Chrome swallowed nervously because with Kyoya’s pants open she could see the bulge in his boxers. A glance up to him, unsure of herself Chrome watched Kyoya nod, giving her permission to explore.
‘About time, he already knows my body better than I do.’ Chrome couldn’t help but think. Still, a flash of sarcasm did little to calm her nerves. She had never seen an exposed male organ before, so it was both exciting and anxiety-fueled experience when she opened the slit to his boxers and pulled it out into the open.
Red, is what struck her first as a description. Angry red, veins and it twitched while she stared at it, startling her a little in the process. Was it normal for those…things to move?
Kyoya was growing a little impatient of being stared at like a side-show freak, so he took the incentive by grabbing Chrome’s right hand then guided it to his cock.
