Luke has now learned to roll well enough that he keeps himself awake when he should be sleeping. I guess he's so used to holding his head up during tummy time that when he rolls himself over in his crib he doesn't understand that he can just lay his head down to go to sleep. He's happy for a while and then the crying starts. I'm trying to let him figure out how to go to sleep that way, but sometimes I give in and go flip him back over just so he will get some sleep. Over the last few days it has taken him sooo much longer to fall asleep. I know this is just a stage he has to figure out, but it makes the day a little tougher. He's still taking short naps... with an occasional long one (I think it's to catch up since the short ones aren't really enough). The long ones trick me because I think he's finally sleeping longer, but then it's only for one or two naps and then he's back to the short ones. I guess he's just a short napper.
