Yamamoto lets Gokudera pull him close, and he smiles all the while, because he knows this. He knows it better than he knows a lot of things, and it was kind of like a ritual, wasn't it? A pattern, maybe, that never really got old. ]

[ When Gokudera lets him go, he shifts back a step, studying the other with curious eyes, before looking away to throw a pointed glance around his surroundings. ]
