Eyes
So yet another job that would have been gravy and enjoyable is out of the question because I am inept at interviews.
Appearantly its because I don't look people in the eyes.
Mum says I should learn to do something about that, but no.
I've never looked people in the eyes and I don't fucking understand why
people think that makes me weird. Personally I think the whole eye contact thing is weird
and quite pathetic.
I'm good enough to lie to your face... so why is much more reassuring to look someone
dead in the eye?
I think that whole 'the eyes are the window to the soul' thing is bollocks, but fuck it if I'm
going to chance that. Its like how I don't really think there's a Hell, but I'll be damned (like what I did there?) if I'm not going to be scared of it on the off chance.
So I need a job where I don't have to look people in the eyes and I don't have to use the phone. I suppose that leaves professional hitman and maybe just maybe 'teacher'.
On the upshot mum and I had one of our lovely 'its 1:00 AM and we're not asleep let's have some wine' moments like we used to have in Highschool.
