Yesterday at work we all got an ominous email. On less than 24 hours notice, we were informed we would be having an hour long meeting, offsite, with HR people who are flying in from elsewhere, on a payroll friday, and nobody in management knew it was happening. The stated subject of the meeting according to the rather terse email is a "Business update." This meeting is also happening at exactly the same time in other states. We're pretty sure we know what this is about. The meeting is in 45 minutes.
