(no subject)
Rome: hot, sticky, full of old things. Last night we went to an opera in Italian (Gretchen, do you want notes?).
Today: we went to the Vatican. I wanted a passport stamp (sadly a no-go), but I did mail home a postcard from the Vatican Post Office.
Tonight: we are craving a movie in English, preferably The Dark Knight.
Tomorrow evening: flying to Israel, landing in Israel at 4:15 AM on Friday morning. Going to go up to Haifa and sleep like a rock on the spare couch in my grandparents apartment until my parents and brother arrive in Haifa at a more reasonable hour.
