soooo i have recently taken up 'leisure reading'. it wasn't planned but my mom came home with 'a million little pieces' by james frey that i had seen on oprah and heard good things about, so i picked it up. for what seemed like 2.5 days straight i read this book... until i found out it was VERY loosely factual-- NOT the original sales pitch. however, i have decided to finish it anyways. it's pretty good regardless and different parts have really made me think. for some reason this quote jumped out at me:
more than anything, all i have ever wanted is to be close to someone.
more than anything, all i have ever wanted is to feel as if i wasn't alone.
it's weird.. as soon as i had finished reading that i paused and read it over and over. i could tell you right now that it's on page 80 prob 2 or 3 lines down from the top. i guess it describes a lot of how i have been feeling lately.
aaaand on a side note: kier and i went to see 'rumor has it...' tonite and i just truly find it disturbing that one man slept with 3 generations of women in one family. this was hard to get over. other than that, i thought it was cute 'chick flick'--which was also weird since my brother said he liked it. strange.
