(no subject)
so i have been doing a pretty good job keeping myself busy... its crazy.
yesterday i got up at about 11 and me, jel, and kiersten went over to lori's to set up the garage for the summer. god damn that was a lot of work: empty it out, sweep, hose down the floor, lay down the carpet, carry the furniture up from the basement, carry her desk down from her room, put all the furniture and junk back into the garage, and put the screens in the doorway. Mmmmm and we got Reid's for lunch, soooo good!!! I also did 2 loads of laundry, unloaded the dishes, took care of my laundry and brought it upstairs, swept out our garage and moved all my college shit to the other side so that my dad could bring the boat home. Then jessica and i went to walmart and i took my dog for a run when i got home. holy shit i am so out of shape :( even though im really slow, its still good exercise! when i got home i went on the computer for a min and lori begged me to come over to show her my pics from the rugby party when she came up to visit. so i went over and we were reminiscing, when we hear someone rolling by and beeping like crazy... it was this kid we used to be pretty good friends w/ in hs. it was soooo random! we just shot the shit w/ him for a while and exchanged college stories... it made me feel old b/c he is a year younger than us. after all the physical activity that day you betta believe i slept like a baby that night... it was awesome.
then today i got up around 11 or so and just played on the computer and ate some breakfast. then i took a shower and jel and i went to vote on the budget and taht made me feel important, haha. oh! and this elderly couple was ahead of us and the lady went first. after she was already in the booth, she lifted up the curtain and asked her husband WHO SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO VOTE FOR!! i found it kinda humerous, esp since the old hags who were running the voting booths gave that lady the look of DEATH. then i dropped jessica off and went home. i caught up on my soaps and helped my half-retarded brother fix his bike. mind you, he and his friends decided to go on a bike ride and he INSISTED on using our really old-school schwinn banana seat bike AND the best part is its bright yellow. lol. im sorry, but how do you make it 18 years and not know how to raise the seat and pump up the tires?! boggles the mind, really... well he finally got it all set and lemme tell ya, he looked like the biggest tool ever riding around on that thing. since i realized he wasnt in fact working today, i took the car and went up to clarence/amherst to fill out some job applications. i basically just really want the job at dick's sporting goods, though. im gonna keep my fingers crossed-- 2 of my good friends work there already, so that should help a little. i came back and jessica and i decided we wanted to do something outside so we played w/ one of those vortex football things for at least an hour, just playing catch in the street. we really wanted to go rollerblading, but the sky looked threatening. we hung out for a while, went on a walmart/tops run, and i came home for some dinner. then i didnt do anything worth mentioning for the rest of the night.
oh, but i started my new fitness program that i made up for myself. i have started counting calories and i have set the goal of taking my dog for a walk/run at least every other night. i had a great run yesterday, but i was so sore i really couldnt go on one again today... but tomorrow is another day! :)
