Nearly a decade later, finally Osama Bin Laden has been found and killed. Damn, America, it took you long enough! I'm interested/reluctant to see the fallout of this around the world. Will it increase anger towards us? I can't imagine it would decrease it, but I also find it hard to imagine there are that many more levels of "I hate America" the rest of the world can demonstrate. I'm sure this will instigate riots and other (hopefully aborted) attacks against us and our soldiers in other places.
Not that I don't want that son of a bitch killed dead in front of my eyes, because believe me. I do. I'm just disappointed he's already dead. I'd've like to have seen that bitch hanged.
ETA: As i read comments throughout LJ I've come to realize that this is being told on the 8 year anniversary of Bush's ill-advised stupid-filled "Mission Accomplished" speech. I find that hilarious.
