My dad's exact response was " Well I guess i can stop watching now". I hadn't watched Idol in a while and really I only watched for Casey. I take comfort in the fact that most people who experience post Idol success don't win. I mean look at Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert etc. In a way i think it's good because I would hate too see them force a bunch of crappy op music on Casey. Truly sometimes losing on that show is the best thing for you. The fact is most people who watch don't but music or vote for fun. I have said from day 1 that America will pick Scotty because 12 year old girls probably love him. Not knocking the kid he seems alright but Casey was the most talented guy there by leaps and bounds. I'm sure we haven't heard the last of him. PS I predict an incredibly boring Casey Lauren final 2.
