Okay I'm afraid I had a few too many ideas in my head about what Dane as Danny's bro meant, and I thought it was goingto be bickering and arguing and funniness. Whoops, none of that. I'm a bit disappointed, which completely isn't fair because Dane's doing fine with is part, it's just... not what I had in mind. It doesn't really matter that it's Dane, any number of people would be fine in this part.

That aside, I love this episode, because STEVE AND DANNY. With the touching and the laughing at stories, and the Danny grabbing Steve's arm as he laughs, and then when shit starts to go down at his brother Steve's all "I AM HERE FOR YOU, DANNY!" And he drops everything in spite of the fact that people are being, ya know, BLOWN UP, to go run and be by Danny's side.

I loved that tidbit about Matt coming over to Danny's crap hotel room with a six-pack and never looking at his watch and falling asleep in a chair and going to work at his job in the morning. I love that.

I really love that Matt keeps inviting Rachel to come along. Hopefully it's not a "I want your ex wife" thing they're going for, it's just.... I think it's the whole thing of, while they were married, Rachel was Matt's sister. and just because they're divorced doesn't mean he stops caring. It's also lovely to see the way Danny looked at Rachel over dinner. He still loves her a lot.

Also, I love how easily "I love you" comes out of Danny's mouth for Matt. Just, so very easily.

And then the showdown. And Danny still makes me laugh "you think I'm one of your dopey clients?" I swear, I just will never not giggle when Danny says dopey. I love, I just... I love that as soon as Matt says yeah and cops to it, Danny just kind of goes "man, fuck man, SHIT" and then goes right into "ok, this is how we're gonna do this." Clean up man. And yeah, hes mad at his brother but mostly he just wants to get him out of this as best as he can. And he can't get him out of it but he can make it as bearable as it's gonna get. And he's just gonna drop everything, his daughter, his exwife that he's still in love with, his job and friends (and lover, Steve, lol) to go do this for his brother.

I'm curious as to how they're gonna work around this because Danny can't leave the show, and I don't know how they're gonna show him in NY for as long as it would take to do what he's saying.

Can I tell you how much I don't give a shit about the b plot? Also ha, I'm sure the show meant for the assassin dude to be the main plot and Danny to be the B plot, but Danny's plot will always to me be the Main Plot.

(the oreo commercial "don't cry milk, i miss them too", I have to say, is quite adorable, lol)

Awwwww, Danny beat up Cousin Jimmy because he stole Matt's bike. LOL. It's all emotional and Danny's holding a gun on his own brother and then they crack me up with that little tidbit. Danny was so the kid that went around beating people up for his little brother and sisters. Heeeeee.

God poor Danny. He's crying. Awwww, Danno. Go be with Steve, he'll take care of you. He'll bring you a sixpack and never once look at his watch and fall asleep in your chair.

Okay, I understand why he went to Rachel but really, thats just you hurting yourself more, sweetie. you're breaking your heart more by doing that, because you still love her and she's with Stan and she's not going to leave him for you (I don't think). Sigh. Shoulda gone to Steve.

No scene for next week? Awww.

Great episode. Loved it. I love my boys so much. Poor Danny.
