Hrm.
I just want to say something that's vaguely spoilery for the latest episode of H50. Because see, it's a point I thought of episodes ago, and tonight's really backs it up, but since I do want to bring up tonight's episode and I don't want to spoil whoever's not seen it with the best running joke of the night, I'll cut.
Okay so the CHiPs thing. It's become quite obvious that Danny has an inferiority complex when it comes to his hotness in comparison to Steve's hotness (which is RIDICULOUS, honey, you are BOTH beyond) and his whole sad face "can't we both be Estrada" brings that home for me, because it's like. Okay, it's kind of like he wants to be Ponch because Ponch was the cool one, the hot one, the one all the ladies wanted, and like, he knows/thinks that Steve fits that better than him, which is why he gives in so quickly at the end, and he's just like "ok fine, but can I be him too please, can't you just lie to me and say I'm cool too?!"
(his lack of confidence is also backed up by how certain he is that Rachel never loved him at all, and how she must have left him because he didn't have any money.... though he may have realized when she told him she ran into him on purpose that she did love him at one point.... and STEVE knows that she loved him and loves him still, though of course he didn't tell Danny that because he's afraid that Danny will go back to Rachel if he tells him and and then he won't get his Danno-lovin' and kissin')
Except what he fails to recognize is that Steve doesn't agree with him, because way back in what the hell, episode 2 or 3 or something int he beginning they're in tuxes at the museum place thingie and the dude thinks Danny's a waiter and Danny's all "Why do you look like James Bond and I look like the wait staff?" and Steve says without even thinking about it "he doesn't know what he's talking about." And that just says, CLEARLY, to me that what Steve was actually saying is "are you kidding me? you're sex on LEGS!"
So. Danny. Pay attention. You might think you're inferior to Steve, but Steve doesn't. So get on that. And by on? I mean on. Or in. Or under. Whatever your preference, babe.
