So I was watching the second Community tonight, also a repeat I believe? I love this show but too many things air on Thursdays for me to keep up with it. Anyway this dude was hitting on Abed and they were talking about Farscape and finally the dude realized that for Abed to get it he literally had to say "do you want to have go somewhere and have gay sex with me or not?!?!?!" and Abed said no he just really liked talking with someone about Farscape and the dude bitterly said "Stargate;s better!" Which, ya know, is patently untrue IMHO, BUT, made me go "Awwww, they got a reference even after they're all off the air!" I suppose SGU wasn't cancelled at the time this was filmed and aired, but still. I miss my stargates. I want my fucking SGA movie! I guess it's never happening though.
I love this episode. It's the one where Troy turns 21 and everyone gets all morose and mean and bitter and sad. I love that this show goes for real AND farcically funny.
Not to mention the fact that I love every single character on this show. I mean, in real life most of them would annoy the piss out of me, but as TV characters I love them so much.
Plus, I'm sad that Annie/Jeff lasted only one kiss that was completely thrown away in one episode.
