dreams in 100x100
So I got 3 hours of sleep Wednesday night, and today? I just woke up, after... you guessed it, 3 hours of sleep! What the fuck?! Wednesday I couldn't GET to sleep, and had to wake up after 3 hours for school. But today? Today is my day OFF. Thursday = Day of Relaxation. And not only do I wake up after 3 hours of sleep, I wake up with a need to search for icon tutorials.
No, seriously! I'm all asleep and stuff, and I think I was dreaming about Rosenbaum cause ya know... I do that... and I have vague peripheral images of hugging him... and then all of a sudden my eyes are popping open and my first thought is "Dude, houseicons had a link to 100x100_brushes, I wonder if that one has templates for icons."
I'm fuckin' serious!!! That was my first thought! Not "why the fuck am I awake." Not "oh, Jesus Christ, it's 8am and I've only gotten 3 hours of sleep." Nope. Nothing sensible like that. Just... "Oh! ICONS!" This is more cracked out than back when I worked at Louie's as their psuedo accountant and used to have calculator nightmares. "Oh no, the numbers are gonna get me!"

Seriously though, I'm gonna try to go back to bed now, but I want to put out a plea to all you good icons makers. If someone on my f'list is an experienced icon maker, has patience, and would like to help an incompetant like me out (lol, okay, not completely incompetant, but if you look at kho_designs, I'm clearly a beginner) I would love you forever.
Basically, I want ot sit down and write down all my questions about icons (ie: how do you know what colors will do what to what, how do you get this effect, how do I make this picture not yellow-toned/grainy, how are these colors so vibrant when the base was so fucking dark, etc) and get some answers. Cause I've tried navigating icon_tutorial and I'm just a 'tard I guess cause I don't get it. Tutorials are my best friend, but I can never find my questions in there. Help?
