Listening to the universe
Sometimes we try to get somewhere but all kinds of impossible shit and obstacles miraculously appear in between to block us. We're told to not give up, to march on and brave the challenges. But sometimes after so much trying I become convinced that maybe it's the universe speaking to me. Maybe my determination is being tossed about so I can open my eyes to see that the end goal isn't as desirable as I think. Maybe the universe is preventing me for a greater reason.
They say when one door closes another will open. I will always wonder if this thinking is going to be my downfall. What's the difference between perseverance and sheer stupid blind chasing?
