(no subject)
i've had quite a lovely weekend. i spent most of friday cleaning like a mad woman in preparation for the arrival of my friends. when i saw them over spring break, lizz, jen, and andrew had been quite enthusiastic about my throwing an easter party. i decided to oblige with what i deemed a spring celebration.
anyway, they showed up later friday night. i had hidden just over 50 colorful plastic eggs filled with candy delight throughout my entire apartment. i sent them searching almost as soon as they were in the door. the search was enthusiastic and thorough, though at least one egg managed to be missed. i claimed the overlooked plunder as my own.
the rest of the weekend was filled with board games, good food, a lot of koolaid, tinkering with sims, and playing with my crazy kitten. it was a lot of fun.
now my apartment is empty, more clean than i generally feel comfortable with, and kind of lonely.
it's also snowing outside.
i really wish april would stop feeling like january. i am all too eager for true spring.
there were lots of pictures taken over the weekend, which will surely be found on the internet in the very near future. so keep an eye out for those.
right now, i'm going to watch a movie or two and try not to feel so alone.
