The Unnamed Servant or The Goat Slayer

Jun 07, 2006 16:36

‘The Unnamed Servant or The Goat Slayer’ is an installation work within a theatre space emptied of performance, haunted by its missing inhabitants. A large part of this installation work is made up of an encyclopedic range of found objects left behind by Uncle Song (the director of The Grand Theatre of Children) after his disappearance. The organization and classification of these objects are hermetic in nature and the audience are to bring their own memories and associations into the reading of this work. Another component of the installation is an audio piece created with a portable cassette tape recorder. The audio piece will be piped in throughout the duration of the exhibition.

This installation is open to the public for two days only.
