There's a reason people lie

Roleplaying facepalm. I'll keep this short.

Timewarping craziness ensures that Isa (Saix's Somebody) and Axel have met.
Fun fact!

Isa is going to call him a lying asshole who's fucking with him (paraphrased) if he tries to tell him he's Lea, just without a heart. Axel-cosplayer*, how the hell were you honestly going to think this would work? Axel is ( Read more... )

common sense, birth by sleep, axel, saix

Slightly OT, but speaking of BBS, did anyone else find the launch trailer to be overly spoileriffic or is it just me?

I'm a horrible judge of these things, because chances are I've already spoiled myself before watching the trailer. XD;

I've pretty much already spoiled myself on the whole game. That said I am being considerate to those of us who don't want to be spoiled and I thought there were some parts of the trailer which gave out too much information. Ex: it ends with aqua saying "you will give my friend's heart back!" which is kind of a subtle giveaway if you ask me.

Oh, no doubt. I'm the same way. I run a KH OOC board that caters to quite a few roleplays and for general hanging out, and there's a common sense policy that no one is to blurt out spoilers until the majority of the board is good with it. Hell, we're still debating on Days. If people really want to talk about it, they white out whatever the words are so other spoiled people can just highlight it. This works for other games, too.

Fun fact: Tri has successfully converted most of the board into fandoming the game The Darkness and the Silent Hill series. 8DDD

Of course, we still have idiots... There's one girl who I know let out a spoiler for Days without any consideration that not everyone might have played the games. Instead of being genuinely apologetic, her response was something along the lines of "Why doesn't everyone just finish the games already?"

Because gee, it's not like they have lives and other things to do or anything, especially the person who was making a move from one home to another...

Not really. >>

Someone who's seen all the trailers said they know the plot, so I asked.

"The old guy's going to be the bad guy--that's the big plot twist. I also wouldn't be surprised he's someone's father."

...

No joke.

I had the joy of going, "Wrong on both counts! Master Xehanort is shown to be the villain rather quickly, if I recall. There are loooots of other plot twists. And also, I don't recall him being anyone's father."

But the "give my friend's heart back" could refer to, well, ANYONE from the trailer's perspective. We're spoiled--we know what she means. Chances are... Most people won't know what she means, just go, "Ooooh, someone lost their heart?"
