"But why is all the FA fiction gone?"
Or rather, why doesn't it exist yet?
(As usual, I'm putting a disclaimer: Unless you have something intelligent to say, and are open-minded, do not reply to this. I've seen enough flames over this sort of thing on deviantART. Also, this rant can also be found on my LJ (by accident, actually).)
Now then, on to the rant. For those of you who don't know what FA means, FA is the abbreviations of the term FAT ADMIRER. It designates a person (usually male)who is attracted to a...chubbier member of the opposite sex. In other words, they like fat women. A lot.
FA fanfiction is usually some of the worst fiction that you will come across (as some members already have). It is unrealistic, and the goal is to fatten up a favorite female character to either overweight, fat, obese, morbidly obese, or immobile weight status. Usually, what happens in the story is that the "victim" is fattened up by either scientific or magical means. After the initial horror, the victim realizes that she suddenly "loves" being fat (and having the freedom to henceforth lead a food-crazed lifestyle, it would seem). Then, when the male lead/love interest finds her in this state, he either a) professes that he loves her no matter what, or, and this is the more likely one, b)proclaims that he is in fact a closet FA, and has always wanted to have her gain weight. They then live happily ever after.
With the definition out of the way comes my actual rant. Namely that, while somewhat relieved, I'm also disappointed to see that there's absolutely NO Kingdom Hearts FA fanfiction. Despite there being dozens of them for, say, Teen Titans (a fan favorite), there are none whatsoever of Kingdom Hearts. The only time I've ever found one was called "The Fat Song", where Demyx and Axel join together to try and fatten up their (rather the author's) favorite female characters for themselves via a new song Demyx has composed.
Now, you may be wondering, "But Shugamri, if they are as bad as you say, why do you want them to exist in the first place?" Well, to answer that is quite simple. "Because they are usually so badly written that they are almost funny."
Let me explain: Usually, these stories take as many if not more liberties with the characters than the usual AxelxRoxas/SoraxRiku fic. The only difference is that they do it with the female characters.
Plus, the really good stories are ones that 1) Are IC, 2) Don't have it be gaining for gaining's sake, 3) Are true to the series they're a part of , and 4) Have plot. For example, I'm later going to post one that I wrote that exemplifies all four characteristics on my LJ, just so that you all can have a reference.
Anyway, this is really just a rant about something that I miss. I used to dabble in (bad) FA fiction, and I somewhat miss seeing it. Particularly since there isn't enough Hetero fiction in this fandom.
And that, as they say, is that. Or, as the Gray Squirrel says, "There, I'm done!"
