Okay, I'm so tired of everyone being oblivious to this, and all those stupid Xion fans not even realizing it, so there we go.
Xion was totally created to cater to the fanboys and to sell off merchandise. In less than a few weeks we'll probably get tons of dolls of her and whatever, and the fanboys will drool over that removeable coat. She's a throwaway character made completely for fanservice! It's even lower than retcon, it pisses me off so much!
