There are some fans who want Marluxia to be gay, but still evil. So they make him this sadistic person who wears high heels, make up and pantyhose while he rapes Vexen Namine people.

i'm getting visions of that fic that was sporked a while ago, where saix and zexion were cannibals who happily ate larxene and demyx and marluxia was the sadistic crossdressing leader of their little crew. who liked to bathe with vexen in a bathtub of blood. lovely stuff.

it wasn't so much that it was hideously written as much as it ripped off every horror movie known to mankind, was insanely OOC and was just full of sheer wtf-ery. i couldn't even read certain parts because it made me feel ill!

HAHAHA OH GOD I REMEMBER THAT ONE. I think the "Axel rapes Roxas' corpse and steps on his jaw and then Roxas turns into a zombie" fic was better though. Good times.

Even though it might sound like I'm pimping, I once started an AU story where Marluxia was a count, married to Larxene, and had a secret harem where he preformed acts of sadism on people he had kiddnapped, inspired by Marquis de Sade's "120 days in Sodom". I haven't written those scenes at all, but he never wears any form of drag (he forces other people to). There's a bit of fantasy-play, but he's more into torturing and humiliating the victim and gets pleasure from causing pain as much as the actual sex.

...I was under the impression that this was closer to IC, correct me if I'm wrong though.

Ah, I see. So it's mostly that they're still making Marluxia stereotypically 'gay' and all the drag? *makes face* I'm so fucking sick of the drag. He is a MANLY man, what is so hard to understand about that?

...and what is it with making him sex-obsessed all the time? I mean, sure he probably likes sex a lot, but he's got more on his mind. Conquest of the Organization, for one. Getting his heart back. Stuff like that.

Gosh, why is Marluxia so bastardized in fandom? Just because his hair is pink and rose petals happen to appear wherever he goes? Um - hello? Last time I checked, rose petals were the anime cue for BISHONEN ALERT - and dammit, we all know Marluxia is ten kinds of beautiful (and his voice is eleven kinds of smexy).

Where in canon to they even get these sterotypes? Are they listening to a word he says at all?

...in the tradition of rose petal towing bishies, has anyone gotten as much OOC crap as Marluxia? My last fandom was Yu Yu Hakusho, and the flower-wielding Kurama was never really portrayed as the sterotypical 'gay' or as a Frakn-n-Furter wannabe like poor Marluxia.

Marluxia is a grade A traitor who knows what he's doing. Even if he WAS originally supposed to be a woman (lol "he was changed to balance out the Organization") he never acts gay. His voice, as we all know, was unpredictably DEEP and MANLY.

He never cares about anyone but himself, he never does anything remotely gay besides having PRIDE in his LOOKS (which he has in spades).

AAAAAH keep your canons separate, yo. Much as I adore both Marluxia and Frank, a fusion is just... no.
EXcept I kinda think Larxene's more Columbia-ish than Magenta-ish.
