I'm pretty sure you know how pervasive the song "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls is. Lots of fanbrats listen to this song, cry fake tears because "OMG IT'S SOOOO SAD!@!!!!31!!!@1asdlfjas!!" and then start churning out AkuRoku videos. Usually bad ones, summarized by a variant of "This video shows Axel's REAL FEELINGS for Roxas!!!!" or vice versa.

HOWEVER! I've found a GOOD video to it. In fact, it's more than just good--it's GODLY.

1. Superb timing. Lots of otherwise good videos are ruined by bad timing, either through YouTube's doing or their own laziness. Not this baby, though. And during the infamous solo, during which many videos hit the wall and go for boring filler scenes, it had the perfect amount of energy to keep me from pressing Alt-Back.

2. Plot. Yes, she has a plot BESIDES "Axel's feelings about Roxas plz comment!" Moreover, the plot captures the MOVIE'S essence instead of relying on the whole "No one would miss me!" device. It actually emulates CITY OF ANGELS in its wintastic-ness. Yes, Iris was written for a MOVIE! *points to Reference! Icon* I'm not going to try and summarize the video in detail--read it yourself before you watch--but it involves Axel and Roxas trying to bust out of Fake!Twilight Town and dying. It sounds cliche, but it works fabulously. Not to mention, she used Axel's fight with MARLUXIA.

3. SHE USED THE WHOLE SONG. Lots of people, upon realizing how long Iris is (4:30-something), decide to cut parts of the solo and/or outro. (RE: Superb Timing.)

4. The "No one would miss me" talk is timed to a DIFFERENT SCENE!!! She made a couple of tiny mistakes in lip-synching, but it puts an entirely different spin on Axel and Roxas' relationship.

5. The ENDING! Near the end, she superimposed Roxas into Axel's death scene and purposely left a white blurry outline to make him all Ghost!Roxas as Sora watches Axel die, and it practically floored me the first time I watched it. It's not every day you see so much EFFORT put into a fan-video.
