Do I have an unfair advantage?

My dad, for some odd reason, likes Roman Numerals. He's always known how to read them. When I was a little girl, he explained the process to me.

I = one
V = five
X = ten
(not that I can remember these next few but)
L = fifty
C = one hundred
D = five hundred
M = one thousand

Also that when you put a smaller value numeral before a larger one, it's subtraction, and when you put the smaller numeral after the large one, it's addition, thus;

IV = four
VI = six

That uh... doesn't seem that difficult to me.

I've seen fic that makes me question whether or not it is. (Zexion is not number eleven, people.)

So! Yous fic guys-

Were you able to utilize Roman Numerals before KH? If not, do you find it easy to remember which Organization Member is what sequence of letters?

OR- do you have difficulty remembering who is who without a list? :D That's another problem altogether. It's like naming the Seven Dwarfs... only worse- at least they didn't have a numerical order!
