1. This rant is mainly spurred by character discussion I've seen, but also by certain fics. I know the Organization XIII members were just trying to get their hearts back, but they were overall not nice poeple who did some very nasty things in pursuit of their goal. Ansem the Wise was a good king who was betrayed by his apprentices, but was later obsessed with revenge. Riku overcame the darkness within him, but he opened his heart to it in the first place. Sora did what he thought was right, but whether he did the right thing by eliminating Organization XIII has been questioned.
These characters (and others) are complex and interesting. The moral gray areas are one of the things I like best about the KH characters. Just because someone's your favorite character doesn't mean they're a complete saint who can do no wrong and everyone who opposed them is a total villainous jerk. There are some cases in KH where things are pretty black and white, such as with many of the Disney characters, but often times that's not the case and you're making the characters much less interesting by portraying them as such.
2. Go ahead and write your Sue, I won't stop you. But, did you have to name her Lexion and get my hopes up for a split second that it was a LexZex fic?
3. Not really a rant so much as a comment, since if a fic includes Lexaeus I'm not gonna bitch about something as small as eye color. But, to artists/ficcers, Lexaeus' eyes are blue, not brown.
