My major problem is that it seems to go against canon. The first we heard of The Organisation, they were Organisation XIII. Proof of Existence only had 13 markers. This addition of a fourteenth member just smacks of continuity issues to me, whether it's pre-KH2/CoM or not. It just doesn't seem to fit, and that means I'm now getting ready for Nomura to swing another load of 'I just did it cause I thought it was cool, but you want an explanation so here's the best I could come up with' bullshit our way. And I'm seriously getting sick of that and Squeenix milking their fans/franchises.
In COM, they were called the Organization. There was no numeral that I recall. This XIII business started coming up with the KH2 stuff. Perhaps Xemnas adopted the XIII because they stopped looking for new members, but then they came across one more. We know jack all about how their world works -- maybe someone actually has to PUT the markers there.
Or maybe it's Namine under a spare coat and when all the other Organization members start getting all interested, Xemnas is going to pull off the coat all dramatic and shout, "YOU GOT PUNKED, IT'S JUST NAMINE!"
They're Organisation XIII in the text in Deep Dive and Another Side, Another Story - that's what I'm working off. And yeah, I'm thinking maybe she got offed before they commissioned her special shiny tombstone thingy.
Nah, it's totally Riku - Xemnas says 'appears to be female', and we all know he likes to drop pills and forgets his glasses when Saïx isn't around to look after him.
To add to what fanfare said! \o/ The oldies (... well, okay, so Marluxia and Larxene aren't old!) called themselves the Organization in CoM. Officially, back then, they had thirteen members anyway! It's more out of habit, Nomura said, but... Y'know. It's actually probable the new girl was like HEY SUP and just ... bit it before everyone else in a way that made even Xemnas go "Oh screw it just. Forget she ever existed. \o/ Or. Well, not-existed"
