Not a FANFIC rant, but...
Dear KH fans on Youtube,
It's not Disney's fault Sora and Kairi don't kiss at the end of KH I & II. Really. The Big Bad Mouse isn't being censorship happy or killjoys who stamp out any sign of luuurve. Last I recall, each of those princess movies had a smooch or two.
If anything, it may have to do with the fact that Japan has more rigidly defined gender roles and Japanese couples are more reserved about showing public displays of affection. Holding hands and hugging is a bigger deal over there than here in the States. Maybe. That's what I think, but I could be wrong.
I happen to think that a brush of fingers can be more intimate than a hot-and-heavy makeout session if done right. Less can be more, folks.
