Fluffy 4/11 fic...
4/11 is not some people's cup of tea. That's fine. Others would count it as their OTP. That is also fine. Personally, I like it. There is some extremely good fanart of it out there, and a growing amount of fic. Most of the fic isn't to my taste, and that's my problem, not the rest of the fandom's. "Fluffy" really isn't how I see the pairing, but some people like it that way. Given enough thought and development, it could possibly work.
But, when you're stooping to the level of making the characters OoC to achieve your fluff, and you admit this, that's not putting thought and development into it. That's just banging paper dolls together. Pretty paper dolls, perhaps, but still paper dolls.
Also: Pointing the business end of a very big scythe in someone's face is not subtext in support of your ship.
