Hey, guys! This is princeali_M_fan reporting to you live from the land that brought you the illogical, ridiculous, pointless, stupid, baby, mindless, retarded, boring, dumb filler in Kingdom Hearts--Walt Disney World! :D (Did I forget some? I feel like I was forgetting some there. There's just so many insults; I can't keep up with all them...) Anyways, King Mickey granted me a day off and I figured now is as good a time as any to talk to you guys. Sooooo, I need everyone to gather around the campfire brought to you in part by our mascot, Axel, and join us for a chat! Yes, everyone. Even you back there typing up that journal entry on how you hate the comm. and the people in it, but you're still a member anyways. Grab some marshmellows, pass the paopu fruit juice, put the porn on hold...we need to have a little talk :D
Ok, I'll just say it--what the hell is going on? I've been here for almost a year and I've watched this comm. slowly go down the crapper. I'm not gonna start with a "BACK IN MY DAY..." rant because it doesn't matter! It's in the past! But lately we've been really wanky and repetitive and sensitive, and I'm just kinda wondering what the hell happened because it wasn't like this before. Sometimes this place feels like the damn Organization. We all function together on stage and smile in each other's faces (for the most part), but then behind the scenes we're all plotting revenge/people's demises and secretly hating each other. I think we need to do a few house check rules before this place turns into Castle Oblivion, k? K!

I'll go out on a limb and say that a majority of people here are smarter than your average bear fan, HOWEVER, this doesn't mean that because you are here at a rant comm. that you are suddenly immune to none of the rants applying to you. Some of you probably have Sues with wings and neon streaked hair; some of you probably do think Kairi is a huge bitch; some of you probably do think Axel/Roxas is canon, whatever, BUT you DON'T go find stuff to rant about here knowing said person who thinks these things ARE part of the comm., and making it known that you are aware of this. That's just down right distasteful. While yes, I just said because you are a part of this community you are not immune from being ranted about, no one should have to feel like anything they say, even outside of this comm., is now up for grabs because they're here with the smart folks and we need something to bitch about. What the hell are we? The fucking mind police? ALL UR OPINION ARE BELONG TO US!111 No, dudes. Not cool. You can do an entire rant inspired by something said here or elsewhere without having to mention a single name of who said it, give a link, or even the specific thing that pissed you off. I know people here have done it before. Hell, I've done it several times. It's just common courtesy! We do know what that is, right? Riiiiight <3

Really, guys. I didn't think I had to mention this one, but I guess it needs to be stated to be official. You can have a difference of opinion...and actually say it TO the person! Don't agree? SAY THAT. Now here's the catch, though...don't be a jackass about it, and you know what I mean. I've seen a lot of you in action and I know you guys know how to debate and argue your heads off in a sensible manner. You know what to say and how to word it to be polite and get your point across, just as you know what to say and how to word something that's gonna bring epic wank. There is no such thing as a anti-wank shield that we can put over the comm. to protect us from it, so it's bound to happen (and sometimes it's funny, I'll admit it xD), but THE POWER....IS YOOOOOOOOURS! I can't tell you how to go about disagreeing with someone, but you're all smart enough to know what's going to get people up in arms. I know this because half of you Instant Message me going "Oh God, that latest rant....*hides*" If you REALLY think you can't handle yourself accordingly and you're just gonna be completely unreasonable about disagreeing? Go wank in your journal. It's love, trust me.
Oh, and also? Disagreeing =/= personally attacking. If someone disagrees with you? Don't take it personal, really. It's just fandom, guys. 20 years from now, you probably won't remember half of this. If someone says they hate your pairing? That's ok! If someone thinks your theory is full of shit? Just keep swimming!. Now this isn't to say you just ignore everything everyone is trying to tell you or what they're questioning, but if you can't walk the walk, then don't talk the talk. Maybe it's just me, but it's really frustrating when you ask someone about something and they're all "STFU DON'T WORRY ABOUT >:O" because everyone gets piss ass defensive over everything if they even sense in the slightest there's negativity. You can't expect everything you say and do to be open with welcome arms and someone out there doesn't agree and make it known they don't. If we did, then there would be no point to this post :P

Let's face it: our fandom is batshit. Penis!hydra, Liquid Fire, MPREG, and vore! Snakes on a Sora, "my pairing is canon!!11", and oh so much more! I've never been in such a..."colorful" fandom in my life. Sometimes I sit here reading the rants going "...you've gotta be shittin' me? Are you for real?" The only thing that really gets me through half of them is the comments and crack we spawn because of the rants, if not the rant itself. HOW many people have made fics and art and what have you from the conversations we've had here? It truly boggles my mind trying to remember it all. Hell, we needed a whole comm. just to hold all of it. We try to have fun here despite how absolutely mind numbing half this stuff is, but don't forget the purpose here is to RANT. Ranting at a rant comm. I know, what a crazy ass concept, but if you have a problem with ranting or being mean about things? I wouldn't say this is the place for you, then. Not all the rants are gonna be happy bunny fluff trips to candy mountain with Charlie, and come complete with hearts, stars, horse shoes, clovers and blue moons. Pots o' gold and rainbows, and the red balloons! marshmellows, and pink skies! Hell, the word 'rant' almost implies it's not gonna be a happy thing. We can get damn right CRUEL here sometimes, I'll admit it, but I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't hang around a place that wasn't of my tastes and liking, would you? A rant comm. would be the last place I go if I didn't like being mean and mocking stupidity, even if it was for something I love. I can't guarantee the posts here are not going to cross lines, and I'm sure if it did someone is gonna let you know that, but just be pre-warned: not everything here will be funny and nice. We're going to rant. Sorry.
Also, I know not a lot of people have been here that long so they aren't aware on what has and hasn't been ranting about, but we don't need a million posts on the same thing. Believe me when I say we know Kairi isn't a bitch (or any of the other girls for that matter, save for Larxene, Maleficent, etc.), that Disney isn't for babies (and this plea is coming from ME. You know, that psycho Disney bitch with the Aladdin obsession), that none of the Organization members are how fandom shows them as, etc. The fanbrats probably won't ever catch on to these concepts, but here at khfanficrants? We do. Really. I understand you have to let off some steam because you've seen it one too many times, but it gets a bit...repetitive seeing the same thing over and over and over again here just as it does when you see Sora being written as a weepy, boy band listening uke.
So yeah, I love you guys to pieces (I have half this comm. friended, I swear XD), but if there's anything anyone else would like to add, by all means SPEAK UP. I'd really love to see this comm. back to being..well, this comm. again. I miss the old!comm.
