Are You My Nobody?
Zexion is Riku's Nobody? Well, that's a new one. Unfortunately, it's still just as stupid as Axel is Reno's Nobody or Vexen is Hojo's Nobody or Lexaeus is Your Mom's Nobody.
Can we just stop with having to assign some canon Nobody to Riku? He's got enough issues with DARKNESS!!1submit without having to deal with a Nobody of his own. Unlike Sora, I don't think he'd take it that easily. Not to mention that Riku never loses his heart (in a way that can produce Nobodies; Xehanort's Heartless is a special case.)
In fact, can we just stop with everyone and their dog having a Nobody altogether? It's like no character is part of the cool club anymore unless they OMG HAVE A NOBODY. This may be shocking, but! Not everyone has a Nobody, nor can they, necessarily! Human-shaped Nobodies are rare enough as it is, it just becomes trite when every single friggin' important character or popular FF character MUST be matched up with an uncalled-for Organization member because THEIR HAIR/EYES/FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR is the same!
Riku does not have a Nobody. Donald and Goofy and Mickey don't have Nobodies. Your Sue does not have a Nobody. The Princesses of Heart (with the exception of one) can't have Nobodies. And that's okay. Riku doesn't have to have Zexion as a Nobody to be a fascinating character. Axel doesn't have to have Reno as his other to be kickass. Let the poor souls/non-souls be separate for once in their existence/nonexistence!
