Eating Disorders
So. It seems to me that the KH fandom has much less anorexia/bulimia fics than a lot of other fandoms. This is very good. Especially since eating disorders, mainly anorexia and bulimia, seem to be a very popular plot/subject/thing.
Now, I haven't finished KH2 or played KH1, but I have watched the cutscenes, and it seems to me that the game was pretty . . . positive, hopeful. So, where in the world do all these emo/cutting/drug abuse/abuse/rape/hopelessness fics come from? I suppose I could understand an Org fic being slightly depressing, but the character themself should not be able to wallow in self-pity.
I just don't get how KH turns out to be one of my most depressing fandoms.
