Anyway, I'm sorry for the offtopic-ness; it's no biggie if this gets bah-leted. But you know how it when you get that one plotbunny, and you're like 'argh I don't have time to write this' and yet it just won't leave you alone?

There's theories that Zexion is his Nobody, 'cause of Vincent's middle name is Ienzo, if that gives you any ideas.

Going through a list of movies: Robin Hood, The Watcher in the Woods (If you want live action), and Something Wicked This Way Comes.

I haven't played FFVII in...years. So I'm curious; what makes it so impossible? They have similarities in their looks, and I can see their powers being somewhat similar, if I remember Vincent's limits correctly.

And KH tweaks Final Fantasy canon enough. Just look at Cid.

There's really nothing to hint that Ienzo = Vincent. Ienzo is Ienzo, not Vincent.

It's about the same way you could possibly ever say that Even = Hojo, just because they're both scientists and 'Even' might have been Hojo's middle name. But the theory is far too wild and unlikely.

Well, there's really no hints about Zexion/Ienzo, period; no one really knows anything about him except he was the youngest of Ansem's students - people aren't even sure if he's a shape shifter or an illusionist. And since we know next to nothing about the former selves, it's up to the imagination as to who they were.

And I've read from a couple of non-KH sources that Ienzo is canically Vincent's middle name, although I can't for the life of me remember the links to support that. I find that there are far more wild and unlikely theories, like Reno=Axel. Weirder things have happened in KH, like Ansem not even really being Ansem.

But there's really nothing to prove or disprove it, which is why it is called a 'theory'.

I think you may have come across that Vincent Ienzo Valentine rumor here, in response to a very good photo manip showing the resemblance between Zexion and Turk Vincent. But that was all it was, a sort of gossippy "wouldn't it be cool" rumor. Our bad. XD

Ah, I think this is actually coming from an earlier post to this community commenting on the similarities between Zexion's character portrait and Vincent Valentine's Turk form: there was actually a Photoshop manip and everything, and sure enough they were basically identical. And all the comments on that post were theorizing about Vincent's middle name being Ienzo.

So that's where that comes from. I think kiwi_socks just maybe got a bit confused about it possibly being canon as opposed to our cracky Hive Mind. XD

Someone posted a picture of Zexion's concept art, colour-changed so he had back hair, red eyes, and his collar altered - which made him look like Vincent during his Turk days.

I made a joke a couple of times afterwards about "Ienzo" being Vincent's middle name but I meant it as a joke.

"Vincent Ienzo Valentine" does NOT need to become the next "Reno=Axel's Nobody" crapola!
