Seriously. This is a series practically made for 'em. Just have Sora and co. land on the planet; no need for...alternate realities and random space-time portals (Although it would be nice if someone could actually pull that off).

No single planet or something in your choice, like Dr. Who? Have 'em

AAAGH! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

I found an absolutely HORRENDOUS KHII/Chrno Crusade crossover on the pit a week or so ago. So, of course, I'm sporking the hell out of the thing and writing one of my own because my plotbunnies got horribly aggravated at that abuse. (Seriously, Chrno does not need a weapon. Chrno IS a weapon.)

But really, there's absolutely no excuse for crossover fics from a plot based on crossovers to be so bad. (It's the same with Tsubasa and Pendragon. Why are we all so horribly abused? *cries*)

Would Tsubasa be a world? Then there would be confusion of what the crossing dimensions would be. Or would KH be a different universe? But then they'd have all those worlds. Both at once in some cracked-out thing?

Actually, my point was that crossovers using Tsubasa or Pendragon with a non-crossover canon tend to suck just as much as KH crossovers do. That was it.

But for the crossover canon thing...you bring up an interesting point. I'd probably write it as if the adventurers from the crossover canons had all landed on the same world simultaneously. (Because I'd love to see Bobby in a tournament at the Coliseum with Sora...or the KH crew fighting the Oni in the video game world with Syaoran and co...)

Maybe the different dimensions are the worlds? And I haven't read Pendragon, but the Deminsion wWitch could probably open the roads...Yuuko talking to Mickey is giving me the most wonderful mental image. (The Oni are digital heartless?)

Wait, so this giant group of anime people is traveling around the worlds? I thought the people of different worlds weren't supposed to go off them, King Mickey's court and the Destiny trio excluded.

But there are so many possiblities, and both are popular series D:! Oh shiz, Xehanort's memories+TARDIS=interesting for a KHII sequel.

Exactly. If you're going to cross them over with some other fandom, just have them land on that world.

Hell, I've got a fic with characters from KH, Aladdin, Atlantis, and Advent Children all in the same freakin' scene, and there's like a dozen other worlds besides that. No rips in the space-time continuum necessary.
