My theory is this: Sora's heart is so strong that even his Nobody can induce strong emotions in people that wouldn't otherwise have them [which is to say, Nobodies]. In my opinion, Nobodies' emotions are severely restricted by the lack of a heart, such that they'll be less intense or inappropriate for the situation. So when Axel says Roxas made him feel like he had a heart, I think he meant he made him feel normal again, like he was a whole person, and that's what he wanted more than anything. That's what I got out of it, anyway.

OMG, that's what I thought when I first played the game! Especially since the whole lacking a heart makes you feel incomplete thing and being rejoined with your other makes you feel whole because you are, but fandom has a COMPLETELLY different take on it that makes you think you're wrong.
And I STILL think Roxas has some type of..."glow" (for lack of a better term) about him that caused Axel to feel complete, so when Roxas left, it's like his crack supply (for lack of a better reference xD) was gone, but that's just me.

See, I was thinking more in mathematical terms.
Axel = manipulative bastard.
Manipulative bastard = one who uses whatever he can to his own advantage.
Roxas = new member.
New member = unclaimed.
New member = unknown quantity/powers/reactions.

Therefore Axel + Roxas was inevitable. The effects of that addition were, I think, mostly unforseeable, and ended up producing the relationship we see in canon today.

This is all just to cover up the fact that I love your icon.

Org Roxas is such a beeeooootch. And so un-huggable! <3!! Ohh maaaan Deep Dive is so awesome. I remember watching that video like 2308209393223 times. XD And I even drew out my own chart with COMMENTS. *totally NOT obsessed, wut??*

What's funny is that I thought KH2 would clear up the Deep Dive video a bit more, but it only showed in like a 3 minute cut scene. And still made no sense. o_x Okay, a FEW things were cleared up, but STILL. Why did they switch Keyblades if they were enemies? ARRRRGH you keel my brain, Squeenix.

Totally un-huggable xD I remember flailing around when that came on my screen. It was sooo coooool. I was all "OMG IS THAT SORA?!?!?!?" (I was half right xD)

Deep Dive was a huge deal and all for them to show us what? A minute's worth of footage to show that's how Roxas got capture. Nomura, you play with my soul!
I always figured he gave him the keyblade so they can fight the stuff, and then turned on each other since they weren't gonna be able to accomplish anything with all the heartless around, but who knows? *pokes FM* SHOW MORE.

Yeees the fighting is sooooo hoooot. XDDD!!! Damn, I watched the trailer so many times that I even recognized the same exact jump-spinny-strike-raid move Roxas did in the ADVENT CHILDREN MOVIE. Cloud copied it, that bastard. XD
I just remember thinking, "Hey cool, a blonde guy with two keyblades!" and then "OMG RIKU LOOKS SO HAWTTTT" and "OMGGGGG LOOK AT ALL THOSE WORDS I CAN'T READ FAST ENOUGH :DDDDDDDDDD"

Deep Dive was the hugest deal EVER. Nomura teases us. ;___; But I do find the changes funny... like, the meteor shower. Totally taken out. The Heartless symbol around Roxas? Totally taken out. Why was Roxas wearing different shoes (and seemingly.. height...) in the fight against Riku and when he walked through that rock? They took out his glowing eye too. 0__o Roxas with yellow glowy eyes, CREEPY.

Me too!! I recognized that! And there's one part where Cloud is looking up at an angle like Roxas was when he was looking at the top of the building, too XDD
XD I remember seeing someone fight with some other people about how that wasn't Riku but was instead Kid!Sephiroth XDD. Riku was hot, man.
I tried slowing down the screen to watch them when I downloaded it and I still couldn't make out all the quotes. A lot of them were said in KHII, so Nomura must have known what he was saying in KH2 before he even made it xD

The glowing eye thing confuses me more than anything. 1. Why was it there? 2. WHERE DID IT GO?! I need to draw a badass Deep Dive Roxas with the glowing eyes...

Oh God, kid-Sephiroth? What were these people smoking? I remember headdesking every time people doubted that the "Blind Folded Unknown" wasn't Riku. WHO THE FUCK ELSE CAN IT BE? X__X; And people suggested Kairi with long hair in the end was Rinoa. Friggin RINOA. Whatthe!???!

LOL I overanalyzed some stuff. Look at all those pencil comments, Ahahaha. But it's funny how I got a few things right. XD I remember I differentiated the Dusks from the "Nobodies" (AKA black cloaked Org people) until I got the game. LOL. >.> *SHTOOPID*

Yah, dumb glowing eye thing! Nomura TRICKED US into thinking those two guys were different. You know, if I knew those two guys were the same, a lot of things would've came together a bit more easily (such as Roxas duel-weilder being the one that looks like Sora, yaddayadda). >:(
