Hmm. Without coming across in any sort of negative way, because I certainly don't mean any of this in a negative way and I adore your art and owe you comments and you always leave such nice comments for me (I should really just friend you, shouldn't I?)...
Well, KH2 has been out for two months now. I realize CoM has a good year and a half on that, but KH2 completes a much bigger picture. And quite a few people haven't played CoM nor have access to it (hence why I'm giving copies, with GBAs, away, for free - I want people to play it) -- or just haven't managed to beat Sora mode for reasons I don't understand because I marched through it triumphantly without much fiddling with that whole card deck thing...
I digress.
Fanpoodles are simple creatures. They latch onto the immediate shiny, which is either Riku/Sora or Axel/Roxas (both pairings I like, don't get me wrong) most of the time (or Leon/Cloud, which makes me cry because they usually do it so badly).
Two months. I haven't even beaten the US version of the game yet, because I have a limited amount of free, coherent time (I just spent 9 hours in a place with dysfunctional a/c and it's 90°F outside so no, I am not coherent enough to mash triangle, thx) and that's a chunk of why I'm still happily toddling away at the KH fics I still need to finish from 2003, 2004, and 2005 (and 2006, because even though I had my copy of KH2 at the new year... I can't keel off all the sexy KH1-only bunnies).
I can understand the frustration liek whoa because I'd certainly like someone to jump on the Setzer/Hayner train that I'll happily conduct when I finally -can- but so far... nada. Org fic would make me squee, too.
I'm sorry, I'm really rambling and yeah, just keep doing what you're doing and I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and maybe someone will pick up a nice bit of inspiration and run with it?

I don't mind the usual pairings (I like Axel/Roxas too ) its just my brain goes into this 'Mode' of just getting away from the norm and I get slightly frustrated when I can't find what I want. But you're right, Fanpoodles are simple creatures (sometimes it does and doesn't make sense *bangshead*)
I did have a Setzer/Hanyer idea once...that drabble bunny is like..somewhere in my closet...getting dusty.
