Sad Irony from the Bush Education sector

Jan 30, 2009 10:12

This sign is (still) at the Post Office in Kotzebue, Alaska on the buttetin board, photographed late January, 2009.  Must have been there for 6-7 months.

It's hard to see here, but the sign is to promote education and the first line reads:
"The United States is lossing jobs to other countries like India because Americans are not finishing school or getting college degrees."
Spellcheck would have caught "lossing"!  Maybe they left an f out of Flossing, which is a new term for picking out the detrious matter from our economy?

Blackadder: Do you know what irony is?
Baldrick: Sure.  It's like Goldy and Bronzey, only it's made of Iron!
