It was a new day from here on out. Kei had arrived at school a bit early so he could find his homeroom, hoping not to get lost. It turns out he found the classroom pretty quickly, so he was one of the first ones there. He sat at his desk, looking around nervously as other students started to filter in. His nervousness stemmed from the fact that he didn't know a single soul in class. Kei wasn't aware of the fact that he had a much bigger reason to be nervous.
Kei smoothed his skirt out and arranged his books on his desk. He didn't even contemplate the fact that his classmates wouldn't realize she was a he. The thought never even really crossed his mind. He scanned the room as the last few people entered the room. He only hoped he could make even one friend out of this group. Kei sighed and rested his chin in his hands. Most students would be more concerned with upcoming finals than making friends.
